Armored Vests (IWBUMS B41)

Description
This mod adds protection against Bites and Scratches to all three bulletproof vests, and increases the protection provided by a number of other items (balaclavas, gasmask, airforce coveralls, hazmat suit, etc.
----------------------------
IWBUMS 41.50 Patch adds vanilla protection values to each bulletproof vest. The values are same for each type of bulletproof vest: Scratch 55 // Bite 30.

Armored Vests modded values are Scratch 100 // Bite 100 for each vest. In addition the mod changes attribute values of balaclavas (protects both neck and face), gas masks and some other items.
----------------------------
NOTE: requires B41 (IWBUMS) version of the game. Will NOT work in stable release v. 40

Right click Project Zomboid in your Steam library and hit “Properties”. Then, navigate to the betas tab and select the “iwillbackupmysave” branch from the dropdown menu.
----------------------------
Please use the mod 'UndoMaskExclusion' by Arsenal26 to recover ability to wear masks with helmets.
----------------------------

FAQ
Q: Any incompatibilities?
A: Should be compatible with Fashion Montage; Might be incompatible with Repair Any Item. I don't use them, so don't know.

Q: The mod is not working!
A: Make sure you are playing on the B41 (IWBUMS) version of the game. Right click Project Zomboid in your Steam library and hit “Properties”. Then, navigate to the betas tab and select the “iwillbackupmysave” branch from the dropdown menu.

Q: Where are the items?
A: This mod does not add any custom items to the game. All the items are already in the base game. However, some of the items might be rare, or might not have an associated spawn location at all. Either use an item spawner mod, or get lucky. I have added spawn locations only for the bulletproof vests, the gasmask and the balaclavas.

@Kentum Only for B41; these items as they are don't exist in B40.

@▲Hemcio▼ so far there doesn't seem to be any bulletproofing ability in b41, probably won't be added in until multiplayer is finished.

This might be a silly question, but whats the difference between b41 and b41 (IWBUMS)? I see a lot of mods calling out for IWBUMS and others just saying b41, yet I have an option to run either beta in PZ steam properties :(

Is there any chance to add protection againts NPC bullets for real "bulletproof"?

So, this mod only changes the values, it doesn't change how those values function in gameplay. Below is a quote by one of the game developers (substitute 70% with 100%):

"The clothing protection also shouldn't be taken as 70% reduction in bites.etc. It's more like 70% of that body part has a reduced chance of a successful injury because it's covered up."

Meaning, even with 100% of the body part being covered, it only means that 100% of that body part has reduced chance of being scratched or bitten (as opposed to flat "100% reduced chance")

@Unholy Care to elaborate which item and in what circumstance?
Unholy 12 Mar @ 5:56pm
these dont stop scratches btw

@Kable While that is a decent idea, that is beyond the scope of this mod. You might find something like that with the SWAT mod, or PAW LOOT.
