How to run Prototype on Win 10 2020 or fix crash boot / load saves / loading

How to make Prototype work [actually also several other games of those years on a pc with modern CPU (updated 2020)].

First thing to do

Enter in the "Task Manager" by right clicking on the taskbar.

Second thing to do

In the window that opens we search for "Details" from the list that appears at the top;
once clicked on "Details" we find Steam.exe.

Third thing to do

Right click on Steam.exe and select "Set affinity";
in the window that opens we have to uncheck everyone except CPU 0, CPU 1, CPU 2, CPU 3 and click OK.

Fourth and final thing to do

You can already start the game and play but when you finish put all the ticks back on or simply restart Steam and everything will return as before!
