Description
Upon death, politely asks if you *really* want to die.

The death confirmation dialog will only be presented if you don't have a regular resurrection method available, such as a Meat Effigy (including one on the surface, if inside a cave).

Reloading a save takes you back to the last point the game saved. Resurrecting gives you the option to instantly resurrect at the spot you're at or on the next day, at the nearest Fire Pit. Both methods of resurrection give you 10 seconds of invulnerability.

Configuration options are provided to disable camp resurrection, on spot resurrection and save reloading individually.

Being a permadeath game is a big part of Don't Starve's appeal, so use at your own discretion.

Thank you so much. This is everything I've been looking for. I get that permadeath is a big part of the game, but now at least I don't have to worry about dying because of one stupid mistake that I made after 40 days of survival. I'll try not to abuse it, but gosh it sure is nice to be able to play a more relaxed version of DS.

I suck at fighting on this game so I really want this mod but, for reason I can't get it to work on SW. I saw the comments saying it dose and I'm new to steam so idk if there is some other issue making this not work? Any advice?

DST has the endless mode.
This mod is actually good for the game if you're tired of dying because of dumb shewt.

Works for me. While I understand that the permadeath mechanic is one of the main features of the game, I still want to have a save that allows me to enjoy DS more as a relaxed game. The flexible options (Reload save or Resurrect) are very helpful as you might need something different depending on the scenario. Thank you so much for making this!

I've subscribed but I can't figure out how to apply it. From what I read it seems it should download automatically when I launch the game but that hasn't happened
