Tutorial
a. Human/Lycan

When you have finished creating your human or lycan character a cut scene will start which introduces you to the NPC Sarah. This NPC will guide you through the tutorial by giving you quests to complete so make sure to read the dialog boxes as they will give you the information you need to advance.

The first quest given to you is to find the doctor. The doctor lives in the red house next to Sarah's.

The doctor will ask you to pick 10 mushrooms for him. Walk outside the doctor’s house and the location of the mushrooms will be revealed. Pick the mushrooms by using F. Once done, go back to the doctor to complete the quest and claim your reward. Return to Sarah for your next quest.

Find the Blacksmith

Note that you can open your quest log at any time by using L

Once you walk out of Sarah’s house you will be introduced to the NPC finder. To use it you simply have to type “Where is (NPC Name)” into say and enter it, here is an example how to do it:

After you type this into say an arrow will appear above your characters head pointing you in the direction of the NPC

Once you have spoken to the blacksmith he will give you a new quest and let you pick one of 3 weapons to use. You can choose one of the following weapons a gauntlet, a slingshot and a small katana.

The gauntlet uses strength for damage, while the slingshot is based on spirit and the katana can be strength or agility which is a preference thing. There are other weapons you can obtain by defeating NPCs. I'd recommend the katana and then build your stat points into strength and agility. Note that the weapon you choose at this point does not necessarily have to be the one you choose to use forever.

To equip your weapon use I to open your inventory and double click the item you wish to equip. From this point on all you have to do is to complete your given quests to advance through the tutorial so you can enter the actual game, remember to read the dialog boxes and quests so you will know what to do.

To complete the quest given by Sarah “Learn something new” you will have to talk to a one of the gathering profession teachers. There are a total of 6 professions and they are separated into the categories of gathering and crafting professions. So if you want to be a blacksmith which is a crafting profession you will need the gathering profession which is required to obtain the materials needed to craft which in this case would be the mining profession.
For further reading on professions please read the profession section of this guide.
Once you have completed this quest you will need to level to level 20 to advance further. Once you have attained level 20 speak to Sarah for your next quest.

Set Sail

You will locate the harbor south of where the blacksmith is. At this point you can begin choosing your faction which is either marine or pirate. Note that the decision you make now is not the final.

You have the choice to set sail on your own which will let you start off with some pirate reputation or set sail with the marines to get some marine reputation.

Once you have made your decision a cut scene will start and you will now have completed the tutorial of this game.

b. Dagon

When you start as a Dagon you will enter a cut scene of a battle where you lie sleeping on the ground. By the end of this cut scene you will be introduced to your sister Lillian who gives you, your first quest.

You can open your quest log at any time by using L.

Note that you can toggle swimming and walking when you're on the ocean floor via R.

Find the pink crystal corals

Well looks like your sister wants you to find some pink crystal corals so let us do that, this is what you are looking for so get 10 of those. Note that you interact with NPCs and objects by using F.

When you have picked 10 of those you will be asked to find Drago. At this point we do not know the location of this person so we will just use the NPC finding feature. To do this simply type Where is Drago in say and enter.
Note that this box will be in system to start with so click OOC-US, click say and type it in as demonstrated and enter.

Find Lillian

Okay so your second quest is to find your sister Lillian, to do this just use the NPC finder like you did with Drago and go talk to her.

Crab shack

All you have to do is to kill 5 crabs. They are right outside the castle. Kill 5 of these and return to Lillian. Note that to attack use space bar.

Training quest

Well looks like it is time for you to become a soldier. Use the NPC finder to locate Rael so you can begin your training.

Gray crabs

So Rael wants you to prove your worth, kill 10 gray crabs and return to him.
So once you have returned to him he wants you to kill 10 more gray crabs so do that and return.

Red pearl

Find the red pearl near the red clams. The clams are located right of where Rael is and the pearl itself is northeast of his location. Take the pearl back to Rael.

Get well

Use the NPC finder to locate Keeal and go there (he is to the right of Rael). Head back to Rael once you have finished talking to Keeal, he will give you a new training quest.

Blue corals

Find 5 blue corals and return to Rael. These things can be hard to spot, you can find them in the southeast corner.

Red clams

Head back to where the red clams are and kill 10 of them.

Sleg hunting

You can find the Slegs northwest from Raels location. Kill 10 and return to Rael.

Learn something new

You will have to talk to a one of the gathering professions teachers. There are a total of 6 professions and they are separated into the categories of gathering and crafting professions. So if you want to be a blacksmith which is a crafting profession you will need the gathering profession which is required to obtain the materials needed to craft which in this case would be the mining profession.

You can find the profession trainers in the Dagon city. Return to Rael once you have chosen a gathering profession.

Where is she?

Okay so we are about to finish the tutorial. Your sister is gone and you have to find her on the surface. To surface use R+UP Arrow .
When you surface, swim east to reach Sochi. Once you reach land continue east to enter the next map which is Sochi.

Note, you cannot use the NPC finder to locate Drai. Drai is located on the main island of Sochi on the east side close to the shore.
Stat Allocation and Traits
a. Stat Allocation

Strength – Melee attack, if you have no weapon equipped your a attack damage will be based off this. This stat also increases your critical multi and block chance.
Defense – All round defense and increases you overall health and heightens your block chance.
Spirit – Spirit damage, increases your critical multi similar to the strength stat.
Will - Will damage.
Agility – Agility damage. Increases attack speed, your critical hit rate, and dodge chance

Each time you level up you will be given 6 stat points to allocate in whichever stats you want.
Note that until you reach level 100 you can reset your stats as you will free of charge.

If you allocate your stats into strength you will perform physical attacks as a Dagon, but If you allocate a majority of your stats into Spirit, you'll fire water projectiles that will increase your mastery in Aqua Mage, for more information concerning this class, visit the Class Guide.

b. Traits

There are currently 4 different races, and all come with their own trait set(except for cyborg) that consists of 3 different ones you can choose to gain a certain advantage. You will be able to choose a trait once you have reached level 20.

Human traits

Red skull – Berserk: This trait will allow you to throw people causing them damage if they hit an object by using S and once you trait momentum is filled your critical rate will be increased making nearly every hit you land a critical hit for a short duration of time.

Feathered shoe – Swift: This trait will allow you to “teleport” around opponents by using S. When your trait momentum is filled your attack speed will get a boost letting you attack very fast for a short duration of time.

Eye – Tacticall: This trait will allow you to do a back step to keep distance to your opponent by using S. When your trait momentum is filled your dodge rate will increase letting you dodge a lot of attacks for a short duration of time.

When building momentum yellow dots will appear below you, for the passive to activate you will need 4 dots and an additional hit.
The yellow bar flashes while the passive is active

Lycan traits

Lycans are able to cycle through 3 different forms that each provide a trait(upon transform) and a boost in a respected stat.

Alpha: Your character takes on the form a full werewolf, slows all those around you when you transform and grants you a buff in the strength stat.

Beta: Your character takes on the form of a mini werewolf, increases your movement speed temporary and grants you a buff in the agility stat.

Delta; Your character takes on the form of a wolf, permantently grants you run movement speed and heals those around you when you transform based off your will stat. Also grants you a buff in the spirit stat.

Dagon traits

Shark: This trait will allow you to perform a shark bite 1 tile in front of you. Can destroy certain dense objects. This skill does damage based on your level x 15.

Eel: This trait will enable you charge electricity through your body for a fixed period of time. Anyone who makes contact with you while you are in this state will have allies near them slowed.

Blowfish: This trait will allow you to inflate your body and reduces damage you receive for a fixed period of time.
Classes
Standard Classes

There are currently 7 standard classes for humans, 7 standard classes for lycans with 3 race exclusive classes, and 7 for Dagons who have 2 race exclusive classes that you can learn through your character menu. Upon choosing a class you will be able to learn skills related to the class and you will also receive a damage bonus upon using the weapon of that class if you are a standard class.

To obtain a standard class(weapon class) you have to choose the weapon which represents the class and level the mastery of handling this weapon or the fighting style to 100 which you do by simply equipping the desired weapon and fight NPCs or players with it until you reach a mastery of 100. Note that the appearance of some weapons change depending on the rarity of the weapon.

You can open your character window by using C and then choose Mast to get a quick overview of which classes are available to you.

These are Lycan's exclusive classes.

These are the Dagon classes, as a result of this Dagons cannot become bishops or pranksters.

Brief information on standard classes:

Fighters are hand to hand specialists who use punches and kicks to defeat the opponent. This class is represented by gauntlets. This class is capable of hitting fast. Fighters use strength for damage dealing.

Swordsmen wield the Katana and have a variety of long range and close range skills. This class is capable of hitting fast. A swordsman can use either strength or agility for damage dealing.

Buster bladers wield the large blade which deals immense damage and is mostly considered a close range warrior. This class attacks slow, but does have an increased attack range. Buster bladers use strength for damage dealing.

Bishops wield the hammer and are capable of casting enchantments to enhance his or her own stats and also enhance the stats of other people. Bishops are special because they have multiple options for stat allocating. The hammer itself is based on strength and has an increased melee range, but attacks slow. Once the class is attained you can however choose to be spirit based and use sling shots.

Pranksters use the slingshot and have as the name implies a lot of skills that can be used to annoy and surprise the opponent. Pranksters can attack from distance and use spirit for damage dealing. This class attacks with decent speed.

Gunslingers use the gun weapon and can attack players by shooting bullets from a distance. This class does instant damage and attacks from midrange,

Archers use the bow and have a variety of skills that can be used to hit the opponent from distance. An archers’ damage is based on the agility stat. This class can attack far and from a long range.

Aqua warriors use the trident and depend mostly on physical attacks although they do have skills with longer range. This class uses strength for damage dealing, even though the damage from a trident is a bit low compared to other strength based weapons it does have the biggest range of melee weapons and they are capable of attacking very fast.

Aqua mages do not have a standard weapon which is related to the class. However all you have to do to master this class is to have spirit as your highest stat since aqua mages use spirit for damage dealing. Doing this will allow you to shoot water based projectiles. Aqua mages have skills that manipulate water, which they can use to alter the terrain for their advantage and shoot different kinds of water based projectiles. This class attacks with an average speed. It is recommended that you use a slingshot with this class since it will boost your spirit stat and you will still be able to perform all of your skills and shoot water projectiles.

Lycan's exclusive standard classes do not have a standard weapon related to the classes. To master them you are required to attack NPCs and players while in the transformation state for each individual class.

Hidden Standard Classes

There is are 2 classes that does not appear on this list which is Assassin and Ninja. To become an assassin you will have to find the assassin trainer who is hidden, similarly with the ninja trainer. You will have to explore different maps to find these NPCs. Assassins use daggers and are very stealthy. They can vanish from the opponents’ sight and backstab them for high damage. This class uses agility for damage dealing and is capable of attacking very fast. Ninjas use shurikens and have access to a variety of aoe skills. They can also throw their shuriken and have it return. This class uses agility.

Note that the level requirement for Assassin is 40 and Ninja requires an ambition level of 250.

God Texts

These texts contain classes that can only be obtained through one of these ancient god texts. Only humans are able to use these texts and to open one of these texts and attain a special class you will need to be at least level 100 and unclassed. Texts can be dropped by NPCs. To have a chance at getting one of these texts through a drop, the NPCs you kill must be level 50 as a minimum and you have to be in a 30 level range of whatever you are killing. An example, if you are killing level 50 snakes you will have to be level 20 as a minimum and 90 as a maximum to be able to get a text drop from a level 50 snake.

There are 3 different types of texts, strength (red dot), spirit (yellow dot) and agility (green dot).

I won't go into detail about these classes but you can find a list of text classes as well as the previous stated standard classes and more here

Training
Here is a little help so you will know what to train on at which level for the best exp gain.

New formula if your level is 15% + 30 higher than the enemy they will no longer give 100% exp.
So an enemy level 100 will give you full exp until you are level 145.
A level 300 enemy will give full exp until lv 375 etc.

Sochi island

As soon as you end the tutorial start with the level 40 snakes and do the level 40 snake quest simultaneously until you reach level 50-60, this is very fast exp in the beginning of the game.
Thomas is the NPC that gives you the level 40 snake quest (repeatable), he is in Sochi city.

When you are between level 50 and 60 kill the snakes in the snake cave in Sochi. Do this until you reach level 90-100.

Star Island

On Star Island you find level 70 and 90 boars. You can come train on these if you don't want to stay on Sochi until level 90-100.

Laoui gives the corresponding quest to hunt down these boars.

You can find level 100, 110 and 140 crabs on Star and Paoui gives you a quest to hunt down crabs.

Anchor island

You can find the level 100 crabs on Anchor, you can do the crab quest simultaneously with these. The crabs are along the shores of Anchor island.

Lunhg is the NPC that gives you the crab quest (repeatable). He is located on the east side of Anchor island.Once you reach level 130 you can go to the crab cave at Anchor and kill the crabs in there.

Kill these crabs until you reach level 180-190

Mydd desert

In Mydd desert you can find turtles with different levels, kill these until you reach level 240-250. There are 2 quests you can do when you begin killing the level 200 turtles, but they are not as fast as the snake and crab quest.

These are the NPC that give turtle related quests (repeatable).Pietier is on the lower west side of Mydd and Dameon is on the lower east side.

Once you have reached level 240 you can start killing the Kayotes which are located mostly in the center of Mydd.
Ferdonz for kayote related quests (repeatable) he is in a northeastern location, south from the jail.

From level 180-190 you can kill the iguanas, they are located in the northwest part of Mydd desert. Kill these until you reach level 310-320.

Cartman for the iquana quest, you can find him west of the northern Mydd spawn.

Cress island

On Cress island you will be able to find some clams of different levels, these clams are easily killed because they use a projectile which does low damage from time to time. Keep killing clams until you reach level 400+. If you have troubles with the level 340s then try heading back to Mydd and kill some more iguanas.

340 clams are located on the southern part of Cress. 360s can be located above the 340s and the 380s are above the 360s.

Tuko for the clam quest (repeatable). You can find him in Cress city.

After level 400 you can start on the Puffs, these things can despite their look be very hard to kill.

Finnigan is the guy for the Puff related quest (repeatable)

Once you reach level 450-460 you can kill the polar bears. You can find the 470 bears where the level close to where the 400 Puffs are. There are only a few numbers of level 500 bears and two of them are near the Yeti which I recommend staying away from since it attacks when you get close and hits very hard.

Peanut is the quest NPC for polar bears (repeatable)

From here you can either continue to train on cress polar bears and puffs, level 650 sharks found in the Lost Sea or Krakens found on Kraken Island until you reach level

Faction
To become a pirate or a marine you will need to gather reputation. You will need to attain 2500 of either pirate or marine reputation to become either. Pirate reputation is gained by killing marine players and NPCs and doing pirate related quests, and for marine rep you will have to do the opposite and kill pirates and do marine related quests.
Open you Character window by using C and choose Rep.

If you want to be a pirate all you have to do is obtain the 2500 pirate reputation required and click the word Pirate in the reputation overview.

If you want to be a marine however you will have to attain 2500 marine reputation and travel to Cress Island and find the marine NPC Admiral Keiji and talk to him.

a. Fleet/Crew creation

Each faction are capable of creating a fleet/crew though the requirments to make one differs a little based on the faction.
As a pirate, open your character window and click reputation and then click on pirate. You will have to pay a fee of 100.000 escudo to create your pirate crew. As a marine you must first aquire the captain rank then open your character window, click reputation and click on marine. The fee to create a marine fleet is 100.000 escudo.

b. Rating

Crews and fleets can increase their ranking to level it up. To do this the crew/fleet must aquire rating by capuring island flags. There are currently 4 flags in total each placed on 1 specific island. These islands are Cress, Skull, Anchor and Mydd. Capturing an island gives a couple of perks. The crew will receive a 10% exp boost when training on the island and will also receive a 10% increase in the amount of escudo dropped.

When a crew/fleet reaches level 15 they will be able to use the crew/fleet skill, Fast Travel. This skill allows the members of the crew/fleet to instantly travel to an island under their control. This skill has a delay of 10 minutes.

Inviting a person to your crew/fleet costs rating and the rating you need to invite someone = the level of said person. e.g. if you want to invite someone who is level 300 you will need 300 crew rating to do so.

A crew/fleet is able to aquire the title of top crew/fleet and the leader of will be given the titel Pirate Lord/Admiral. The titel is given to the crew/fleet that has the highest rating among their respective factions. The crew rating cap is 21.000.

When a crew reaches level 10 the rating aquired by capturing an island is halved.

Crews/fleets are able to take rating from rival crew/fleets by killing a member of a rival crew/fleet. When a Crew/Fleet member kills a rival Crew/Fleet member, the rival Crew/Fleet loses half the victim's level in rating, provided they're within 100 level range of the killer. If the Crew/Fleet belongs to the Pirate Lord/Admiral, the 100 level range requirement towards them no longer applies.
Miscellaneous
Professions

There are a total of 6 professions and they are separated into the categories of gathering and crafting professions. So if you want to be a blacksmith which is a crafting profession you will need the gathering profession which is required to obtain the materials needed to craft which in this case would be the mining profession.

To gather materials you have to interact with them by using X

To open your profession window press P.
Clicking the profession icon shows your current level of it.

Treasure Maps

From time to time NPCs drop treasure maps when you kill them.

Each treasure map is named after the island they are placed on like for example “Sochi Treasure” and you have to be on the right island to open and read the map.

This is what a treasure map looks like. It is a map of the entire island area which in this case is Sochi.

The blue square reveals your current location and the red cross is the location of the treasure.
Keep in mind that the red cross represents an area of 4 tiles and the treasure is hidden in one of those tiles. The trick is to look closely at the map and get into the correct upper left hand corner of a 4 tile space.

When digging you have to keep digging until you get one of the 2 following messages.

This will appear in OOC-Global and system.

This will appear at the center of your screen as a pop up.

The time it takes for you to get a response is random, sometimes it will only take a few digs and sometimes it can take a minute or more so it is a good idea to macro digging. The macro is Dig.

Mobs

A – Store sub sells different types of clothing and accessories that you can use to make your character look unique. Note that this NPC can only be found in Sochi.

B – Food vendor sells food that will help you regain lost health and the shovel which you can use to dig for treasures. You can also sell items you do not want by dragging an item from your inventory into the shop window. Note that you cannot sell the items you got from quests in the tutorial as they are bound to your character.

C – At the bank you can deposit your belongings and withdraw them whenever you want. To deposit an item you have to hold down Alt+left click the item in your inventory you wish to deposit. To withdraw you do the same but you click an item from the bank window. Note that you can only find this NPC in Sochi.

D – The reforger allows you to reforge weapons and armors to gather souls which can be used to enhance your current equipment. Beware because by doing this there is a chance that your equipment will break and you will not be able to use the equipment until it has been repaired. Note that you can only find this NPC in Sochi.

For further reading on reforging and augmenting click

E – At the stylist you can buy new haircuts. Note that you can only find this NPC in Sochi.

F – Items vendor sells special crafting materials that you cannot find through gathering or mob drops. Note that you can only find this NPC in Sochi.

Any NPC in a running state or without an exclamation mark above their heads are humanoid mobs that tend to be very strong.

How to open a shop

You can set up your own shop and put things for sale at your own prices for other players to buy. To do this you have to click the shop icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

To put items for sale open your inventory and just drag and drop the items into the shop window and then set your price for the item. You can choose to sell the item in either gold or escudo now. Note that to reset the price you will have to relog and set up the shop anew.

You can also check on what other players are selling by heading to the barter menu at the top of the game window and pressing View Global Market.

In this shop you will need to pay with gold and there are a variety of items you can purchase like class reset scrolls, god texts, pets and a lot of other helpful stuff.

Events

This game has some fun events you can participate in, to gather gold.

PVM(Pirates vs. Marines)
This event is a war where both sides collide. Each side is given a flag that they are to defend whilst trying to destroy the opposition’s flag. The side the opposition’s flag first wins the event and will receive gold and 10% exp boost.
Players who have not chosen a faction yet can freely choose between both sides when entering the event.

CTC (Capture the cow)
This is basically a classic game of capture the flag. Only difference is that the flags are cows. Teams are random and not faction based. Scoring 3 times results in a win.

Elimination snowball fight
This is a snowball fight where every man fights for himself. There is no limit to the amount of snowballs you can throw, and the objective is of course to eliminate all the other people in the event. Each player is giving 10 health points and once you drop to 0 you are eliminated. There are various boosts that you can pick up during the event, such as, increased walking speed, +1 health point, and speed ball which makes you capable of shooting really fast.

BG (Battle ground)
The objective of this event is to capture the 5 flags while fighting off players of the opposing team. 4 of the flags are placed in one of the 4 corners of the map while one is in the center. To capture a flag simply stand next to it until the green bar fills up and the flag turns into the color of your team. Your team score goes up while you have flags under your control and the more flags your team has the faster it fills up. 2 teams are formed randomly and the first team to achieve a score of 2000 wins the event.

Tournament
The Tournament consist of one on one fights until only 2 people are left in the finale and whoever wins gets the reward. To make this fair there are different level range tournaments so join the one that you can.
This is how you join.

FFA (Free for all)
A free for all event where players fight against other players until you either get elimnated(killed) or end up the last person standing.

Kraken
The mighty kraken has been released and its up to you and the rest of the players in the event to team up to take it down. The Kraken works on a hit system, so hit the kraken's body and tentacles to rack up points.

Tips
Party system

You can create a party with your friends to level faster. Everyone who is in the party will get a share of the experience points gained when someone kills a NPC, but if someone does not kill anything for some time the system will consider them AFK and the person will no longer get any experience until he or she starts killing again.

To open the party window to go the lower right of your screen.

Once you have opened your window click create, to create a party.

After you have done this you can invite people to your party by clicking invite, you can only invite people in your sight. If leave a party that you created the party will disband, but if you are in another persons’ party you will simply just leave their party. If you find it necessary to kick someone from your party you can do this from the party tab.

You can also speak to your party members. You can do this by clicking party to open a chat box.

You can also macro the party chat with the macro Party-Say.
