Last possibilty could be reinstall. It's up to you if and when you want to do this. But check after reinstall if kf2 folder is really deleted(in steamapps folder and your documents folder), maybe even restart after reinstall so there are no temporary folders still there. Then its a really clean new install. And everything should work fine afterwards.

I tried the verifying of the game files and it still didn't work. However I just tried the map via the map voting after playing another prior, and it worked. So I'm not sure what the deal is with trying to play the maps without having to do one prior in order to get to them via map voting.

ok, then it seems something is wrong in your game files of powercore. It's possible i used some assets from it. You can try to verify the ingetrity of KF2 over steam. Otherwise i'm bit out of ideas how to fix it without reinstall.

I do not use any mutator/modification/beta. I can try to play on it via map vote. "Power Core" would crash my game if I just tried to play on it, but via map vote it didn't.

If yes, which one... then i need to check it.
Its really weired. I just use basic KF2-Assets in this map and its working also on servers.

Did you try to delete you cache... maybe something went wrong during the download.
