DESCRIPTION
A free downloadable add-on car pack for rFactor 2 game (by ISI / Studio 397), based on historic Formula One Grand Prix cars.

F1 LEGENDS RACING 2.0 (aka F1LR 2.0) for rFactor 2 is a conversion of a mod made by BorekS and deep-strike from scratch, originally released for GT Legends and GTR 2, later released for rFactor 1 and for Automobilista aswell.

F1 LEGENDS RACING cars are based on specifications found in historic Grand Prix cars and are visually and physically similar to F1 1967 season.

F1 LEGENDS RACING cars are not a 100% copy of the real F1 1967 cars, therefore they are using imaginary vehicle team and driver names. However, the car types / manufacturers are easy recognisable what for physics is used, also every F1LR car manufacturer slot is trying to keep the ground of real 1967 F1 race team colors. F1 LEGENDS RACING 2.0 car list:
* F1 1967 Beagle T1G, engine: Beagle V12 48 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Eagle Weslake T1G.
* F1 1967 Britus 43, engine: GBR H-16 64 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Lotus 43.
* F1 1967 Britus 49, engine: Britus V8 32 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Lotus 49.
* F1 1967 GBR P83, engine: GBR H-16 64 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 BRM P83.
* F1 1967 Grabham BT20, engine: Grabham V8 16 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Brabham BT20.
* F1 1967 Grabham BT24, engine: Grabham V8 16 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Brabham BT24.
* F1 1967 Hooper T81, engine: Hooper V12 36 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Cooper T81.
* F1 1967 Scarrini 312, engine: Scarrini V12 48 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Ferrari 312.
* F1 1967 Yonda RA273, engine: Yonda V12 48 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Honda RA273.
* F1 1967 Yonda RA300, engine: Yonda V12 48 valves. This car is based on real F1 1967 Honda RA300.

@D.julien: this mod is not designed to be end-user customisable. thats the reason why no paint kit is released. there is no plan to release F1LR2 skin templates, basically to avoid of all the user made crazy paint schemes. if the user really need more then the currently available 20 vehicle skins, I would just recommend to repaint the car Nr. and driver name decals... with same/similar relevant fonts.

Thank you for the great mod.I started on Grand Prix Legends and many great memories are back.My face hurts from smiling so much.My wish list are the 65 mod,the 66 mod,the 67 sports car mod,the 1955 mod(All from GPL) and the 50's sports car mod from RF1. Thanks for preserving this great car racing history for future fans.

Physics are good, but I'm unable to race with AI in any circuit due to a huge fps drop.... is this a known issue? or am I missing something? Thanks for the great job done!

A simple update to do that would be appreciated: Change the names of the materials for the helmets and driver suits to "wchelmet" and "wcdriver" so that users can make their own. (Ideally, some other things like the cockpit/mirrors for the Hooper could be made into a "wcextra0" for example so they can be customized, or the wheels for the Beagle to "wcrims" so instead of choosing between black or white rims, a user can skin their own to make silver, gold, red -- whatever suits their scheme. That also would allow you to use one model instead of two for the black or white rims -- just include the appropriate {carname}rims.dds texture in the teams MAS.)
