Description
This mod adds passive behavior to manure piles. If left on the ground they will begin decaying. When they decay they will automatically fertilize nearby barren plants and farm plots. Barren plants that are fertilized have a small random chance to become 'naturalized' again, meaning they will act as though they were never transplanted and not need further fertilizing. Flies will also stop buzzing at dusk/night.

Configuration options have been added to allow you to disable any of the individual features. You can also completely remove the flies if they annoy you (they annoy me).

A small manure pile has a very limited range (roughly one farm plot distance). Larger piles will fertilize things further away. There is an option to triple the range if you feel it is too small.

Spoiled food will now also decay but NOT auto-fertilize by default in order to allow spoiled food piles to clean up on their own. You can enable fertilization in options.

This is much better than the mod that makes it so you only need to fertilse once after planting.

I know you said you don't really support this mod anymore, but I thought I'd report a bug I noticed anyway.
If the "no flies" option is not on, if Chester has manure inside him when dawn comes he'll be surrounded by fly-buzzing sounds until you save and reload. (This doesn't happen in an unmodded game.)

Pretty sure that in this mod its just the passive effect that does it. In my personal copy of the game I had direct fertilization do the same thing but I dont think that was part of this.

Also I should note I dont even have the game installed anymore and wont be reinstalling (and thus not updating mods) unless my kids start playing DS again, or unless a modder friend desperately needs help with some code testing.

Does "naturalization" of plants happen on regular fertilizing, or only with the passive effect?

If my daughter or nephews get into DST i'll port it. But anyone else is free to do so themselves if they want to try.

I completely rewrote the mod code to use a more properly written autofertilize component. If the crashes still occur let me know and i'll adjust the code.
