Blender Guru's?
Steam Group!
Description
This is a game that plans on being a fun, and casual medieval combat game that focusus on the players experience with a larger group. This game will be friendly to: Clans, Groups, Players, and just all around friends who wish to come fight each other with actual skill! This game will be combat focused with getting the player emersed in their medieval surroundings. This game will of course be saturizing some of the concepts displayed back in the ages but will be Fictional/Fantasy, meaning no real group will be actually represented. This game's main backround is a Religious Faction trying to forcefully engulf a different country into its empire by invading it, but the country has a well equipped and trained military. This is not all set in stone though, as the one and only dev (as of yet) I am reaching out to the community to see what will be the best set course for us. I have just begun making this game just a month ago and already we are seeing some progress with the game. We only have development pictures, but we are not going to hold back on what we think you should have a say in! I hope you all enjoy this experience as much as I will, as this is my very first game!

I am aware of the comments, they give great feedback and criticizm if needed. I love your ideas, I will hopefully put them in it's just a matter of time, money, and manpower. Currently all I have is Time, I will hopefully post this up on Kickstarter as soon as I can and hopefully hire someone or some software that can let me do so easily. Keep giving feedback/criticizm, I love seeing more ideas!

Dear Evan:
Do not worry, if you are aware of these comments, I am quite sure that the game will look really cool. I am quite confident about it because I personally consider it a good idea.

Only needs to fit it in a good shape. Hope you have a good luck!

Khenu, I understand what you mean. I am all for that, but since I am alone I must start small. For the Pre-Alpha I am going to put Multiplayer and a Tutorial (Hopefully with the pre-alpha) but for the singleplayer part I must get a more experienced team then just myself especially for open world. If I'm still alone at that part, I will make a singleplayer and it will be more open and free than what most games will allow, this again will probably take a while.

Interesting idea with good potential, but it is quite possible that the game is too much focused in the combat.
Maybe with a good storyline or something more open worl (without being a free-action world) can be usefurl to make it a great game.

Altijdthomas, you bring up a good point, I explain it mostly in my group profile but this game will be mostly combat focused. Mount and Blade is one of these examples, I want to bring a directional blocking game that requires skill. Said skill will be centered around hand eye coordination, timing, and others that are still being thought of. To make this a quicker fight though, instead of blocking for a whole fight, there will be a counter system in that if you block the right direction in time to block the attack and you attack right after you will majorly wound/kill said player. As this is still in concept form, strategy/managing is still being thought up and so is the multiplayer. For now you can count in Deathmatch, and Team Deathmatch.

Good potential, I would only appreciate some more detail on what this game will actually be. What will make this game good and immersive but still completely different in a way? Will there be strategy/managing? Or will it be simply an RPG? What is the multiplayer mode going to feature?

That sounds like a great idea, but it may have to wait, I am a one man team with some outside support (Thanks to the great help of them for helping me thus far) so it may have to wait a bit. As for the fantasy part I have been considering it and I may add in a little after the pre-alpha, maybe in the beta, again though im soloing it up so it may take a bit.

This idea has great potential. I would recommend keeping it simple to start with, and building on that/fixing bugs and whatnot.

Also, Once you get this going and have a decent player base, add a zombie mode. I have never killed a midieval zombie. Would probably be a BLAST! Also, spells!
