UK Carriage Connectors

I made this little mod up on a whim and thought it might be of use. This adds a small carriage with no capacity, no cost, no weight and no wheels to the game. What it essentially is is a prop piece to place on your trains between carriages to create the look of a connecting gangway corridor between carriages (See image above).

This works best with UK-sized carriages and engines - the vanilla Flying Scotsman and A4 work pretty well for this (Though the A4's tender has a slight issue, I might release a slightly modified tender mod to address this.), but also works well with all of my generic UK style carriages and JK's carriages in particular.

It'll also work fairly well for US style carriages, though it's not perfect. This is a one-size-fits-all situation so it's never going to be.

Anyway, thought some of you might get some use out of this. Enjoy!

@Gr1m thanks just wondering

@Lord of Arendelle: It's available from 1850 through to 2100. If you're having trouble finding it, the icon is a white bar with a red 'CC' on it, and it should be located at the very top of the carriages section (along with any other brake van, cabooses, canteens or any other carriages with no capacity)

Flying Scotsman's double tender config was only developed in preservation to gain longer non stop range on the main line after BR removed the water trough scoop pick-up system from the tracks in the early 1970s. Some of the early diesel locos also used the troughs to gather water for their steam heating boilers, so they lasted beyond the end of steam haulage. Eventually steam heating of carriages ceased and there was no longer any need to pick up water on the move. The CORRIDOR tender was the innovation that allowed longer non stop segments in the steam era, by allowing a crew change en route.

Love the idea. I'll test it and use it for my new UK playthrough. Thanks a lot for the mod.
