Fix the framerate(Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit method)
1/ Download Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit, here:
Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit for Windows 7 [www.microsoft.com]
Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit for Windows 10/11[learn.microsoft.com]
And install it (yup pretty obvious).
(select ApplicationCompatibilityToolkitSetup.exe)
2/ Go to the folder where you installed it (by default it's got to be something like this
"C:\Program FIles(x86)\Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit") for Windows 7
or "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Windows Kits\Windows ADK\Application Compatibility Toolkit\Developer and Tester Tools" for Windows 10/11
Then go to Compatibility Administrator (32-bit) (even if you're on a x64 OS) and launch Compatadmin.exe
3/ Right click on "New Database(1) [Untitled_1] and choose: Create New->Application Fix...

4/ Complete the fields as you wish and click on browse to select eXceed.exe. Then click next

5/ Skip the Compatibility Modes screen by clicking "next".

6/ In the Compatibility Fixes screen, enable NOGDIHwAcceleration. Then click next

7/ Click Finish

8/ Click on the save button, give your database a name and save it where you want (I saved it in the Exceed directory)

9/ Then Right Click on your database and select install.

10/ If u do well u can run the game in 60fps directly in steam
For eXceed 2nd and eXceed 3rd you have to do the same thing
Have fun !! ;)
If your pc don't reach 60fps in eXceed 1, you can enable in Compatibility Modes
8And16BitsAggregateBits
8And16BitDXMaxWinMode
8And16BitGDIRedraw

Fix The Framerate (djvoodoo method)
1.Download Last stable version of DgVoodoo2 http://dege.freeweb.hu
2.Extract the x86 MS content in game folder also drag dgVoodoo.conf and dgVoodooCpl.exe files there.
Folder should be like this
3.To get rid of watermark
launch dgVooCpl.exe
Then Go Direct X Tab
Uncheck Watermark like the screen and apply.

Optional :
You can Tweak your game by forcing resolution and apply a texture filtering

Thanks to Hyperduel to share dgVoodoo2 Software

You need to sign in or create an account to do that.
I don't think it's my PC because even lowering many settings on dgVoodoo makes no apparent impact on the game's performance
Thank you nonetheless...!
i renamed old method to Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit method since it's stil working
and new method to djvoodoo method.
