Interiors for CUP

Description
About

This small add-on replaces many CUP buildings with their equivalents from the Contact DLC, meaning many buildings on terrains using CUP buildings now have interiors. We have found that it completely changes how we play on terrains that we've known for over a decade.

It replaces the buildings on any terrain or mission that uses them (i.e. even third party terrains that depend on CUP, such as Beketov). It does not require ownership of the Contact DLC as Bohemia Interactive made the assets available to all ArmA 3 owners.

There are some glitches where the ground clips through the floors of buildings; it is unlikely that we will be able to fix this in the near future.

Are these interiors compatible with AI? Meaning if AI units will be able to enter and use these building for cover etc

@Donnovan I think you're talking about https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/setTerrainHeight - it could be possible but it would either need to be done manually for each individual instance on each terrain, or potentially someone could figure out how to find the location of every edited building on a map and then automatically adjust the terrain around it.

I think it's unlikely that this mod will be patched to include either, but if you're making a mission and there is one specific bit of terrain clipping that's annoying you, you could absolutely use that function to fix it :)

You CAN use the cDLC compatibility data packs to ADD new structures to the ARMA base game for free. The only thing you cannot access are the weapons, gear, vehicles, terrain itself, and SP/MP missions. This way cDLC owners and users with the data packs can still use the new buildings.

@XxwhirlwindxX - only if the structures from that cDLC have been released for everyone as they were with Contact. Otherwise, it would be possible but only playable by people with the Sahara cDLC.

Both the server and all the clients need the mod running or you'll get very strange behaviour :)
