Vanity DE

Description
Changes the appearance of equipped items on any character to whatever you wish on the fly.‍‍‍
*(Reboot of the vanity mod that works with DE)

No longer do you have to choose equipment stats over appearance in DE.

Are you tired of looking like a clown?
Tired of having to choose between that awesome looking breastplate & a new drop that looks horrid?

Look no further, this mod provides you with the answer!

This mod copies the 3D models being used by your currently equipped items and saves them. Then it allows you to replace the 3D models of any newly equipped items with the previously saved models.

Basically, it's a glorified workaround for the lack of vanity slots...

Instructions

1. Enable the mod in-game.
2. Start a new game or load a save.
3. Steal or acquire two shells (plenty of those on the beaches of Fort Joy).
4. Combine them together to get the Ring of Vanity, which provides you with three spells.
5. Equip the ring so you can change the appearance of the armor and weapons.
6. Equip all the armor, shields & weapons that look great on your character but have undesired stats.
7. Cast the "Morphosteal" spell (provided by ring) to save the visual look of currently equipped items.
8. Equip the ugly looking gear that has the desired stats.
9. Cast "Morphofuse" (also provided by the ring) and watch as your gear becomes amazing looking.
10. Don't like the result or accidentally changed items? Cast "Morphoreverse" to undo any changes.
11. Un-equip the ring.

"Reposting the only useful comment here on how to get this mod to work made by TAI in case someone needs the help and doesn't want to comb through all the comment pages:"

"Ok so I managed to get this to work by finding where the file was actually being saved. Steam being Steam, saved it in my many workshop folders. So it was in Steamapp>Workshop>Content and either if you've re-subbed it'll be in the latest folders. Or search "Vanity" or "VanityReboot". Copy that pak file and put it in your Documents>Larian Studios> Divinity Original Sins 2 Definitive Edition> Mods
There it'll work from there."

Is there any way to use it for amulets and ring with majoras fashion sins?

is there a way for the armors to use the color scheme of the ones they are copying rather then the one it originally had?

can confirm that it breaks devourer set - im sad, really wanted this to work :(

And, yes, this means you can dupe Devourers set with junk items, forgot to mention this.

Breaks Contamination and Devourer sets from Relics Giftbag.
Contamination set can't be finished, some Morphofused items from set will lose it's connection to the set.
Morphostolen Devourer set will be set instead of your items basically deleting them.
Such a shame, because it's the best looking set in the game in my opinion.
Outside of these two sets mod worked flawlessly in my past 100 hours.

Sadly the vanity rings seems to prevent set armor effects from working properly.
