Description
I needed some particular posters for various stations in my current game so decided to turn it into a publishable mod.

The mod can be found in the madhatter category.

There are 30 posters to choose from various decades 1970 onwards.
The posters can either be 'inserted' into existing walls or displayed on billboards.
There are three designs for billboards holding 1,2 or 3 posters.
There are three sizes of poster/billboard.
There are 3 special posters which are empty billboards - ie the wooden boarding behind a poster.
You can also use the free-floating 'wooden poster' to board up a house ;)

Menu options

Design - pick the required layout
x - A free floating poster with a thicker back to make it easy to insert into an existing wall
|x| - One poster on billboard mounted on two posts
|xy| - Two posters side by side mounted on two posts
|xyz| - Three posters side by side mounted on two posts

Size - Three choice of size
L - Large
M - Medium
S - Small

Board - select the board to paste a poster on
X - The left most board
Y - The board next to it
Z - The board next to that

Poster - paste a poster
. - Do nothing
> - Scroll to next poster
0 - Reset to the first poster (wooden board)
< - Scroll to previous poster
R - Pick a random poster
B - Set to wooden board (XYZ have different boards)

Notes.
Because of the way menus work in TPF. Every time you click on an option. All the current choices are taken and the selected poster changes. This is why there is a 'Do nothing' option.

You need to select the x,y, or z board before trying to paste a poster on it.
( I keep forgetting to do this ;) )

Deleting boards - The boards and posts are all separate assets rather than grouped. This was done to reduce the number of files and the code in the mod and allow the 'scrolling' selection to work.

Finally - please rate it if you like it - it takes quite a lot of subscriptions to get a star but you also need just 24 positive ratings ;)

Right apologies to all - I have managed to inadvertently name two files the same in two mods.
untangling that is troublesome. As the other mod went up first I've renamed the file concerned in this mod. All new posters should work fine. - and your saved games should load if they don't let me know (I'm sure you will ;))

Hi MH, I'm getting an error when loading save games now.
1 resource file(s) are missing:
res/models/model/mdhtr_sign_pole.mdl

Checking the mod location the file is no longer there. There are files referencing a sign_pole in the material and mesh folders, just not model.This may be down to the previous fix you implemented. Are you able to have another look?

Hi Kieran psyv - should be fixed now.

All - let me know if you get any issues - I had to change the name of the pole mesh and the referenced material file due to a clash with another one of my mods.

this changes the textures of the level crossing signs it removes those textures and replaces them with the textures fromthis set of signs please make sure both texture packs are separate
