Figureheads and Ship Essentials

A lighter flavour of the popular mod tailored for the Zig-Zag Gaming community[zzgaming.net]. You can use this version over the regular if you prefer! Differences are listed further below.

Interested in custom figureheads? How about a bell to get the attention of others, lanterns for your ship, or a jolly roger? This mod adds additional figureheads with multiple appearance options as well as various ship structures for yer adventures on the high seas! Learn the skill from the Seamanship skill tree after Basics of Sailing, to get all the engrams needed. NEW to this version, a new ship class, the Frigate, a battleship that has better attack and defence, while lacking more in it's movement and weight capabilities.

Differences from the main version of the mod!:

- Shipwright Shopfront is now admin-spawn only. It is always activated, indestructible and accessible by anyone
- As a result, hiring and firing funtionality has been removed.
- Behaves like a freeport NPC shop now. Full details in change notes.

- Higher quality shipyards can be bought at the shipwright as tokens

- Naming conventions of ships. Windowed ships are named differently.
- These ships have more carrying capacity and speed with lower hp planks

- New ship class, the Frigate, a windowed ship based off the Brigantine with armoured planks
- The Frigate is a warship, which sacrifices carrying capacity and speed for higher damage and resistance

- Ships have increased max speed and reverse speed

- Carracks, Frigates and Freighters can reach up to 21-22 knots, and Cruisers 24-25 knots at max wind

- Ghost ship figurehead and related buffs or items have been removed

- FSE Converter - Converts Shipyards to the FSE variant and vice versa. This will come to the base mod at a later date.

- Some miscellaneous tweaks to ship stats


Figurehead models are all custom made within Zbrush and textured in Substance Painter unless otherwise stated.
Base Bowsprit models are from the game.
Skeleton models are posed meshes from ATLAS and retextured.

Well Kojo it´s because the patch from grapeshot did a Number. For you see u need to pay Gold tp build a shipyard so basicly u should realize that the new version of shipyard is not yet updated here. If the dev team decide to change items, they will no longer be the same. You have to wait and see till its updated here. BUT of course u do realized why that was the problem, right? The FSE Converter still works fine, but it wont work on the new shipyard items.

Hello one question does the FSE converter no longer work? we have been using the mod for a while but now we get the message Crafting Requirments do not match when converting the normal shipyard into an FSE shipyard. who still has the problem or has found a solution for it?

I found the answer to my initial question. So stupid lol I didn’t read the faqs I’m presuming the freighter is equal to the galleon of regards to build limit size. But what I’d like to know is howd you do it? How did you change the structure limits?

Are the XXL Sails now usable on this mod? On the original version is written, that they are not fixed to use. Dont know if thats alrdy done.

Hello a question is it possible that you can build in your mod Figuerheads Ships Essentials a function that you can set the prices for the implemented ships or adjust the prices via the ini. that would be interesting for RP servers like ours. the function can be activated and deactivated via the ini. sry for my bad english

Is there any way to put the gold into the shipyard. i need 50,000 for a galleon but it wont let me put the gold into the shipyard.
