World of Darkness: Windhelm

By the Nine! Why are there two vampires in Ulfric's court?

Rune and Radinka Grimaldi have been sent to Skyrim by order of Voivode Erzebet to find our what Harkon is up to and put a stop to it. They have been given very specific orders (which you can read for yourself by searching their knapsacks). Fortunately, one of those orders is to help the Dragonborn. Because even vampires have a problem with Alduin...

This mod includes two new followers for players. They are both found in the Palace of the Kings. Both are flagged as Essential and won't impact stealth. Both are also merchants with 5000 gold.

Rune Grimaldi: Rune can train you in the fine art of Speechcraft. He is trained in heavy armor, one-handed weapons, block, and archery. He also knows a fiew illusion spells.

Radinka Grimaldi: Radinka can train you in wearing heavy armor. She is trained in heavy armor, archery, and two-handed weapons.

Neither has a Home AI, so they will stay where you leave them. Have one or both guard your home. I feel bad for any bandits that attack Lakeview with these two there...

On the long table in Ulfric's war room (if standing in front of the throne, the room to the left), you will find Rune and Radinka's knapsacks. Besides some gold, gems, and skill books (and...ew...human hearts) you will find letters addressed to each other them from their Voivode explaining their missions. These letters are actually skill books.

They were both created with vanilla tools, so you don't NEED Dawnguard to use them. But I had Dawnguard in mind when working them into the setting.

Warning: there is a known glitch with vendors that if they get over 30,000 they glitch out and stop buying or selling. They will take your items or money but you won't get anything. This is a glitch with the main game, not the mod. Be careful when training with them, particularly at high levels, because it is possible to accidentally push them over the 30,000 limit.

Who are these two? They are old NPCs from our gaming group's Vampire: Dark Ages campaign. I had some of my friends ask me to make them, so I did.

thank you, always felt the cival war main places were a little light on npc's, and with me being a dark elf vampire lord and the "high king of skyrim" mod i can now have allies watching over the usurper and making sure his alliance to me remains as such

I did flag them marriage faction but didn't test it myself. But I'd be concerned marrying either of them considering their histories lol

It is the normal Draognplate armor using the Crimson Dragon Armor mod. You can get the Crimson Dragon Armor mod here on Steam so when you make dragonplate or dragonscale armor it will have the new color pallette.

It isn't a quest line. I'm still new to modding so I have to work more on how to do actual quests. For now, I just tried to integrate them into the game in a way that didn't break immersion. I wanted them to feel like they "belonged" there and weren't just random NPCs.
