Hunter's Cabin

*Development on this mod has now finihsed. If any bugs are reported I will try my best to fix them, but I will not be working on adding any new features or the like. You will find me, and my mods, on the nexus from now on.*

A small home, ideal for the hunter play style. Located not too far away from Riften (see images for map) It contains everything a hunter could need; a bed, a safe, and numerous storage facilities, as well as a few suprises (hint: check out them for a pair of antlers...)

Current Version (See 'Change Notes' tab for a complete list changes): v1.2

Overall - Great mod, would definitly recommend this as a mod to my friends who are looking for something minimal, but useful in their gameplay.

Good work and good luck on your future endeavors! (Second of two comments)

I say, it's a good place, but there could be quite a few improvements, the foremost would be the useless Trap door / cellar door. Even after reading some of the comments about the trapdoor, I still think it has good aesthetics, I think the users of this mod would very much appreciate there being some use of it, nonetheless I completely understand that you were having troubles wtih the door working, so could it possibly become a project for a later time, perhaps?. Beautiful place all in all, but there was a couple of misleading details mention such as the "hint" of check out them for a pair of antlers... , as described in the description, I'm not quite certain of what that should mean, but with having used "tfc" (Toggle free camera) the onlything that stood out as a surprise was the bow in the bear's mouth which I thought fit in really well with the theme along with the armor set that available. There's some overused words in the Journal. Esp the word 'managed'. Journal said there was at least something in the safe but it was empty.

I tried in vain to find your surprise at/on/under the antlers. Unless something was going to -give- antlers?

The cellar door was non-moving, couldn't enter. If that was part of the feature.

It's in a nice location but I think I'm going to pass it by. G'luck with your other mods.

Thanks. What I should also have said is I am enjoying this Mod very much. I have been trying several around that area, yours is the only one still there :)

Update posted.

Okay no, it appears that I hadnt navmeshed it for some reason, my apologies. There will be an update shortly to reflect this, and some other, changes.

I'm sure I already navmeshed it, though I cant remember for sure. Are you sure its not just a problem with your game, since no one else has reported anything similar?
ThordTV Mar 5, 2014 @ 2:41am
Will you navmesh this please. It is strange watching my follower trying to run under the house etc. For the same reason followers cannot enter the house, they need navmesh. I didn't put this in suggestions because it seems to me as much part of a house mod as placing floor tiles.

I have answered it before a few times, but anyway.. It was something I was trying out before I uploaded it that never worked out. I'm sure I posted an update to resolve that but I'll update it again now anyway :)
