Prop Painter 4.0 + PaintUI

Description
Prop Painter allows you to paint props. It's like Painter, but for Props, so it's Prop Painter.

PaintUI, which is a key component of this mod, is a Move It extension that allows the current Move It selection to be painted if you have the corresponding painting mod (this includes buildings and props only at the moment). If I ever have time, I would love to add functionality for trees and networks, but unfortunately I do not have time to add these changes right now.
Recommended Mods for PaintUI include:
Painter or Repaint (use only one!)

Where to find the button
It's in the Move It "More Tools" menu (the upward arrow). It should be at the very top. If it's not there you haven't enabled the mod or you're using an old version of move it.

This mod is compatible with
All of my mods.
81 Tiles
Move It (obviously)
Painter/Repaint
And more!

Thanks to
Boformer for answering tons of stupid questions from me
TPB for giving me color picker code that worked (and the original painter mod from which I took inspiration)
Quboid and kjmci for testing the mod
hydra and deeheks for ideas on mod button placement
pardeike for creating Harmony which I rely upon entirely for the existence of this mod

All of my colors reset!
You may have subscribed to a mod or asset ingame, or created a custom theme mix (which dynamically creates a new mod ingame, thereby triggering the reload function). I am working on a solution to this problem and will try to push out a fix sometime soon.

To those who are coding-inclined: I believe the cause of this issue is the game trying to load serialized data while the game is running (causing a nullreference). Hypothetically, this will be a very simple fix- simply adding a check to make sure that data is not loaded over existing data should do the trick. Unfortunately, this does nothing for saves that are already corrupted. If you know of a solution to this secondary problem, please tell me in the comments. Thank you!

Source Code (v3.0)[github.com]

You can use Prop Anarchy: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2696146766 with Move It to colour props.

hoping to see the PaintUI make it to one of the modern big umbrella mods, i really miss being able to recolor buildings with move it :(

The colour board is just stuck on the screen and the height alignment tools in Move It don't work!

I am having the same problem as @Ryuichi Kaminogi

I use copy and paste with 'Move It' a lot, and every time I do so the props, trees, hedges, flowers etc were turning different shades of grey, black or a shade lighter than their original colour. If I imported a file from 'Move it' the props etc in those also are in different colours/shades.

It is not only 'Move It' that causes this. It also can happen with 'PLT' or just pulling the object out of the UI.

@LemonsterOG - from my experience, Theme Mixer 2 does impact, this mod's behaviour, as stated by the author in the description. When you save a mix, the game reads it as a new mod subscribed. And once you do, you can't revert back. I forgot that and saved a mix in a city and prop painter stopped working. I was carefull enough not to do so in other city and it's working fine..

@Teddy Radko - the only way around i found is to convert the prop with PO and paint it with it. Which is a pain and only works with non-conforming to terrain assets. There is a mod that creates a non-conforming version of props that can also help.

@Teddy Radko -- First, Theme Mixer 2 doesn't have any effect here, so that's not what's happening. It has long been established in these comments that the reason props lose the color changes applied by this mod are caused by players subscribing/unsubscribing anything from the workshop while the game is running.

Yes so i think i encountered the "corruption" issue when i saved a new theme mix. Now this save and subsequent saves won't save prop paint customization. If anyone finds a solution to this please post here how you did it!

I downloaded some graffiti and tags that are entirely white, which don't look great on white or light gray walls. Would this mod allow me to have the tags in black or other colours?

This fence doesn't have color variations, so its color shouldn't be changed by just placing. In case you conclude "it's a color variation by prop"
