Class 66 Remover

Description
This mod is intended to help rescue people's savegames following the deletion of Cibaris's Class 66

This mod replaces the locomotives with neon purple bricks. Send the mobile bricks to the depot and sell them off and bulldoze the static ones. Once all purple bricks are removed from the entire map, save again and you should be able to de-activate the mod.

If it doesn't work for you then I'm not sure how I can help you, Me and killakanz can't see any issues with the code.

Original code by Killakanz

Basic tutorial:
Download removal tool
Add it to your save then scroll down and look for the missing 66s (you cannot search, you need to scroll)
Disable them
Start the game
Remove all the 66s that you've bought in game
Save
Then you can remove the removal tool

hey flex, i've been trying to fix my save since the X73500 mod was deleted. Is there a way to modify this tool to replace another train? What kind of mod files do you need?

Apologies if some of these questions are dumb, I'm not really used to fixing stuff under the hood.

Hey man, can you please make the same mod for saving saves (lol) after Renault TN6 deletion?

Thank you so much. It worked and made my saved games usable again.

@ Buffer94 Just un-check all the red warning items in the mod list using the + button middle right [where you added mods before] after you clicked on the map you want to play. If you [as in your case] have no 66's locos [or others for future cases] in use, doing this should then allow you to start the game [even without this mod]. I would back up all Steam mods in a separate folder so this sort of thing does not prevent you from uploading a saved game. Using the transportfever.net mods does not affect your saved game as stored differently.

The problem I am facing is that I can't click on the "Start"-button. It says I have to load the missing mods first. Any idea (btw I didn't used the 66s on this map yet)?
