Having problems connecting to Burnout Paradise Online? Multiple solutions inside!

Before attempting these methods:

Please make sure your Firewall is disabled.
Try creating an EA/Origin account first.
Use your Origin ID to login.
And have restarted your steam.
Also tried verifying your game cache.

Tips:
Once you have gotten your Burnout online working, make sure not to tick ‘Remember me’ As its said to cause errors the next time you login.
If you get the error ‘account and password combination doesn't exist’ then this is a good sign. Try logging in using your Origin ID instead of your EA one. And always make sure to use your Origin ID throughout all methods.
Make sure to attempt ALL methods before posting about none of them working.

Pre-Step:
Make sure to create an Origin account and use your Origin ID to login.

Method 1:
Try creating a new account. Then try connect and it should say unable to connect to burnout paradise servers. Then try create an account again using the same details. Hope it works else close down your burnout and steam . Then launch up the game and it may work.

Method 2:
Delete your Burnout save games, located at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Criterion Games\Burnout Paradise
If you cannot see the files you will have to enable see hidden files.

Method 3:
1. The Burnout Paradise server is not available at this time. Please try again later.Login at http://www.easportsworld.com/
Note, it doesn't show everything with some browsers so I used IE to be safe
Go to My Player Hub
On the left (at time of writing) are your list of online personas. I had one for PC, 2 for Xbox and 1 for PS3. The DEFAULT is important here. Mine was set to my main Xbox account. Switch it to your PC one.That fixed that issue for me. I have a feeling it was trying to connect my PC version to Xbox servers or something crazy before.
2. An authorization token was not passed from the game/website
I hit this issue immediately afterwards. There's talk about it being related to something called ECN (google "disable ECN" if my solution doesn't work for you) but in my case it was down to default browser. I use Opera, I don't know if the same problem occurs for FF, but I set IE as my default and this bit was fixed too.
3. Minor script issue
The game actually advises you on how to fix this (shocking stuff) - it occurs if you browse the online profile area you get to if you got past the previous 2 steps. It's a browser privacy setting (still using IE, go to Tools, Security, Custom Level (for Internet), and near the bottom enable 'Allow status bar updates via script'.

Fallback Method if all else fails:
On your Steam game library click Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate box. Then click CD Key under the links section on the right hand side. You should see your CD key, click ‘COPY KEY TO CLIPBOARD.’ Then download Origin and once you’ve launched up Origin and logged in click Origin > ‘Redeem Product Code’ and then paste in your key from Steam. It will prompt you to install the game onto your Origin account. Allow this as this is what it does in-game anyway using the Steam version.

also fixed the problem. put my info for my acc but i chanaged the "remember me" box to No. And it works perfectly.

lol yep. wow cant believe its been that long but it has. Just went online and theres so many ppl online. for a game this old u would think the online would be dead, nope. Same goes for FarCry 3 and Borderlands 2. sum peeps still playing on there online.

The fallback method worked for me. I redeemed the CD key on the Origins website, no need to install Origin. Started Burnout Paradise on Steam, and logged in with my Origin username (which includes an underscore), said Yes to Remember Me, and it's been working since.
