Stately Homes Series
Houses created for this series have been put together in the 'Stately Homes Collected' collection.

Little Moreton Hall
This spectacular Tudor hall is situated near Congleton in the English North West county of Cheshire, United Kingdom and is the second in my 'Stately Homes' series.

History
Little Moreton Hall, also known as Old Moreton Hall, is a moated half-timbered manor house that first appears in the historical record in 1271. The earliest parts of the present building were built for the prosperous Cheshire landowner William Moreton between 1504 and 1507. The remainder of the hall was constructed in stages by successive generations of the family until about 1610. The building is highly irregular, with three asymmetrical ranges forming a small, rectangular cobbled courtyard.

The house remained in the possession of the Moreton family for almost 450 years, until ownership was transferred to the National Trust in 1938.

Details
The Hall is split into 3 distinct elements. The hall is surrounded by a moat (the Tudors loved moats) which is created using 3 different size network sections and the courtyard uses a bespoke cobble stone decal.
All used elements are in this pack and will appear automatically when the Hall is plopped. My advice is to level a fairly large area and plop it in the middle. The moat will automatically set its level.

I have used no props so recreating the original gardens is my challenge to you, enjoy!

The pack contains:
1. Little Moreton Hall main building.
2. Decal: Cobble Stone
3. Network: Moat (6m)
4. Network: Moat (8m)
5. Network: Moat (10m)

House Geometry
Model: 15,765 tris
LOD: 639 tris
Model texture: 2048 x 2048
LOD texture: 256 x 256

Prop Geometry
Network Moats: 440 tris each
LOD: 96 tris each
Model texture: 512 x 1024
LOD texture: 128 x 256

Cobble Stone Decal: 12 tris
LOD: 12 tris
Model texture: 512 x 512
LOD texture: 128 x 128

I've tried to make this asset as beautiful as the real building and therefore the geometry tri count is higher than average and the textures larger than most. Most of the texture elements have been created specifically for this asset in order for full control over the final look.

All files in this pack use the same naming structure to speed up 'Find It' searches.
SH (for all stately home assets)
LMH (Little Moreton Hall, obviously)
N (Network)
D (decal)
So, for example, a search for 'SH LMH N' will find all the network moats.
The only exception is the main house which is named 'SH Little Moreton Hall' for clarity.

The separate sections that make up the house will appear in searches (not in the menus) but the main 'SH Little Moreton Hall' is the one to plop.

The moats share the same textures so if you use the Loading Screen mod the textures will be shared by all the elements and this will reduce any load on your machine.

I will be adding new houses as and when I am able, so keep checking for updates.

If you want to suggest a UK stately home for the next in the series feel free to leave a comment and I will see if it 'takes my fancy'.

Please try this pack out and let me know how it works for you. If there are any problems let me know in the comments below.

Love this, my girlfriend pointed out you've even got the wonky windows at the top!

Some of the cathedrals around the country (though not fitting into this category obviously) would be fantastic. Some great architecture around.
