Despite being a no-portal map, this is no slouch. You seamlessly integrate a bit of a tutorial for the map on the left side, while forcing it to be reused throughout the rest of the test - something even elite mapmakers don’t manage that often. You also make the player travel with the companion cube a lot, only to have to sacrifice it at the very end - classic. And, of course, the logic is beautiful - I definitely didn’t get the ending moves right away.
It is worth noting that this technically isn’t your first no-portal map - even though you have a portal gun in it, that honor would go to “Roundabout”. Also, this definitely isn’t that easy. It’s not super hard, but definitely not a walk in the park.
Difficulty: 4.5/10
Enjoyed: 7.5/10
And the warm lights remind me of Nintendo.erk's maps
