Shade 3D ver 14.1.1 Fixes, Improves 3D Printing and 3D Modeling
  • Poser 10 / Poser 2014 Integration. Native PoserFusion model and animation scene hosting now compatible with the most recent version of Smith Micro's Poser character animation solution.
  • 3D Text Primitive Improvements. Produce vertical text, plus text handling for automatic character and line spacing.
  • Improved Subdivision Options for Booleans. Granular control over subdivision surfaces added to the powerful boolean modeling system in Shade 3D.
  • Delete Undo History. Free up available memory by deleting saved undo history.
  • Separate Tool. Detach contiguous surfaces and discontinuous faces, or copy as new shape objects.
  • Separate all non-manifold edges and border edges.

Other new features for selecting and modifying both manifold and non-manifold geometry improve use for 3D printing, prototyping and architectural visualization.

A 100% free version of Shade 3D is also available called Shade 3D for Unity. Check it out!

Shade 3D is the powerful modeling, rendering and animation platform for 3D designers, 3D animators and 3D game developers. Use highly efficient curved surface tools or industry standard poly mesh editing tools to build what you desire. All versions of Shade come standard with beautiful Radiosity rendering. And if you've been wringing your fingers over how hard other 3D programs are to use, you'll love Shade's UI that puts the tools you need close at hand.

Shade 3D is also a proven tool for content creation for 3D games; you can start with Shade 3D for Unity, the free version of Shade 3D, modify, animate and export animated FBX models for use in Unity 3D based games (check Unity Asset Store for free scripts for interactive modeling!).

You built your models, made beautiful animated renderings to promote your game, and exported to FBX for your game assets. But then what?

Turn your models in to real world creations with new 3D printing features. Use new line thickness and offset tools along with new color based normals checking to make sure you have a fully sealed mesh before you export to STL - and print you character to 3D using your own 3D printer or inexpensive services.

We are no longer carrying Shade 3D Basic. However if you'd like to check out something we are involved in now in 3D that's really innovative, go to and use INVITE CODE: MESHBOX0617.

@pozdn9k - I think Steam is kind of Mirye's last priority. In the last couple years, they've translated the python documentation to English, they've added tools for 3D printing, and they've released a free Shade for Unity modeler. There's a lot of stuff most likely on their plate, so this is probably still on the backburner.

Still nothing? Should we forget about Shade 3D for Steam?

I'd get it! (If it was free, which it won't be if it gets on steam, which it will, because it looks to good to be free!)

Thank you for updating us, Mirye Software. Shade Standard is better than RaySupreme... so if you would offer that when you are able, that would be awesome.

There's a non Steam announcement today to update people on Shade 3D, but not about Steam Store. Since it was greenlit, requirements for Steam API support changed, and that's been a snag.

It's been greenlit for quite a long time and still doesn't appear on Steam Store. No updates here or on official website. Have they canseled it's release on Steam?
