Citizens of Divinity

Description
The world of Rivellon is full of fascinating, well-written characters that the player can bump into on the road to ascension. Question is, why can’t there be more? Well, wonder no longer.

Citizens of Divinity adds 10 original characters around the world that you can find over the course of the main quest. Some are hidden away, some of them blend into the crowd but all of them have been designed to slot into the world and provide more role-playing opportunities.

This is the first mod I’ve released for the Original Sin games so please let me know if there are any issues. The characters aren’t tied to quest data; they were written to showcase different personalities and experiment with the options available in the engine.

The goal of Citizens is to celebrate the dialogue and character interactions of old-school RPGs. The writing attempts to recreate the smart-arse responses, evil choices, comedic situations, pop culture references, skill check variety and memorable NPCs that the classics brought to the table and pays tribute to the greats of the genre.

A big thank you to Larian for fixing the visual indices bug and, of course, giving us an excellent, mod-friendly game to build upon. Citizens of Divinity wouldn't have been possible without their support of the community.

Citizens of Tamriel, the fully-voiced, high quality successor for TESV, is now available here.

Just ran into Denla, the prisoner (not going to say where for spoilers). She was exceptionally well-written! I had low expectations, to be honest, of a modder's dialogue capabilities. I was very pleasantly surprised, and now I'm looking forward to finding more. Thank you!

Plan to add any new NPCs or just these 10 for now.

Been playing with this mod till Act 2, I really like the concept and execution so far. For increased immersion however, you should utilise Node Flags to make it such that the NPCs acknowledge meeting the player character already, after their first interaction.

Thanks for the feedback. The characters were written to essentially be "secrets" for players to find, particularly to add new life for people on multiple playthroughs, but I've updated the page with some examples.

no screenshots?

I agree, it sounds as an awesome thing to add, but without any data (say number of NPCs and number of dialogues) and screenshots it's is hard to understand the mods value.

Hey sounds Very great maybe post a example or pic just to show this is complete and great. (the amount of mods incomplete/issues/etc... on DoS 2 is way to high)

Might check out later otherwise hope it great and it gets attention this kind of mod has really not been made yet for DoS 2 and they should be.
