Remember to like and favorite. I don't know to update if it looks like hardly anyone is using it.
I rarely use workshop anymore. I find there to be a better selection on the Nexus. So any possible future updates will ikely also be nexus heavy. New links at bottom.
Removed DragonBone Weapons because the ones in the expansion are better, imo.
Added link to Helgen Reborn and the Sexy Towns author.
Sounds of Skyrim added a Civilization pack recently. If you enjoy the other instalments try it out too. Very immersive.
Added Moonpath quest mod. Best one I have found so far. Voice acting is good and they are still building it, so check for updates.
Replaced Midas Magic with Apocolypse Spells - Better spell package IMO. Uses the buy books system which fits into Skyrim more seemlessly. Spells are more varied.
Added SkyUI - I no longer use this because I now play with a 360 controller, but if you are using mouse and keyboard this is THE mod to get. Pay attention to the install requirements or it will not work properly (in otherwords, READ)
UPDATE 4/28 Added links to UFO and Weightless Items. Added Paarth Fix
UPDATE 4/30 Reduced distance npc greetings Better Quest Objectives - adds detail to tooltips More Dragon Loot Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers Better Pickpocket - makes min 5% an increases max to 98% added link to levelers tower
This is a collection of personally tested mods that improve your gameplay. If you are new to using mods, this is the collection to start with. If anyone feels like this list is missing something then feel free to message me and I will test the mod and include them based on how they test.
Ultimate Follower Overhaul (UFO) - Adds tons of functionality to followers. Can have up to 15. Can remove their default gear and replace with what you want. You can tell the to "relax" which will have them treat the current area as their home until you come get them. They can ride horses. Read his page because there is much more added, the amount of new functionality for followers is amazing. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14037
Paarth Fix - Cant tell you what this does without including a spoiler. Adds a dialogue option to the main quest that removes what I considered to be the most annoying decision forced on the player.
***These do exactly what the title of the mod says *** Auto Unequip Arrows Faster Vanilla Horses Legible Road Signs Unread Books Glow Spend Dragon Souls For Perks Reduced distance npc greetings Better Quest Objectives - adds detail to tooltips More Dragon Loot Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers
***Add Weapons to Dragonsmithing*** Dragon Bone Weapons Complete - lower dmg than Deidric, but higher crit and faster.
***Mods to improve the look of female characters in the game*** Link to collection.
***Adds many new sounds and increases immersion*** Sounds of Skyrim series
***Cheats*** Lock Pick Cheats - add if you hate minigames in your RPGs
Better Pickpocket - makes min 5% an increases max to 98%
Levelers Tower - A cheat filled player house between helgen and riverwood. Has buttons that increase skills. An arena to spawn mobs. A vendor with 30k gold. Much much more. Very well designed. Keep in mind it is under cheats for a reason. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14152
***Magic Mods*** Apocolypse Spells - Adds new spell books to Winterhold vendor. Wide variety of spells, some very powerful. Nice autocast system added to some spells.
***User Interface*** SkyUI - changes the menus to ones much more friendly to mouse and keyboard.
***City Overhaul*** Sexy Cities - Don't let the word 'sexy' fool you. No npc changes here. The city textures, specifically the ugly, drab colors are replaced with colors much more appealing. There is a separate mod for each city so instead of linking all of them I will link the author instead. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/users/3417809/?tb=mods&pUp=1

Sorry for the lack of updates! Been away from Skyrim for a while. I've stopped supporting this mod but ultfreecomputing has picked up where I left off and made several improvements. Check out his mod Even Better Quest Objectives here:
This simple mod adds quest markers to all 24 of the Stones of Barenziah (Unusual Gems) that you need to find/collect for the "No Stone Unturned" quest. The markers are only added after you take an "Unusual Gem" to Vex, and she gives you the objective to f...
