why Artemis is superior to Orion

A summary of the different reasons that space woman is better than yellow man

This guide is completely objective and has no bias whatsoever. What i am stating is complete fact.

Appearance

Artemis's character model is astonishing and has an amazing set of armor (which is also made of a literal star) plus her pose is way better than Orion's dull pose.

And if we look at Orion you can see that hes basically a banana man.

Skins

When you look at Artemis's skins and Orion's skins its clear that Artemis's skins all look way better

Eclipse Artemis clearly represents the power and might that Artemis holds.
Iron lady Artemis shows her fierce strenght and fiery soul that she has.
Street race Artemis allows you to see the insane speed that she has, no one can catch up to her.
Darkheart Artemis shows how dangerous and evil Artemis is definitely her worst skin yet still better than those Orion skins.
Future spirit Artemis is amazing as you see that you cant escape her however hard you try.
Slapshot Artemis shows that Artemis is always ready for a duel and that she is a champion.
and lets not forget,
Seraph Artemis, the exclusive that show that Artemis is noble and loyal to her cause.

now if we look at Orion's skins you immediately spot how ugly they are from Dark age Orion to Kabuto Orion. They're a mess from top to bottom and lets not forget that ridiculous Crossfade Orion exclusive, it shows that Orion is desperate to look cool unlike Artemis. The Dark Knight crossover is good however, simply because its a shovel knight crossover. the rest sucks about it.

Lance

Now both of these legends own the weapon known as lance, and Artemis's lance sig is much stronger and better than Orion's lance sigs and i'll tell you why.


SSIG: Artemis's side sig makes her jump forward and blast her power into your opponent's face, although tricky to master once used correctly you will shatter your enemy like glass.

Orion's side sig on the other hand is just him flying forward and can be easily read as most people spam with Orion, it may be strong but easily expected.


DSIG: Artemis's down sig makes her jump on her lance and blast a beam on the floor in front of her and knocks enemies down, the range is great and the force it brings to your enemies face is good aswell, lets say your'e dealing with a wallhugger then you can blast them down to their death. And its not just an edgeguard, if you use it on the ground you can knock your enemy away from you, giving you time to breathe and do some great damage.

Orion's down sig is him firing a few pellets at the ground which knocks you up, that's why its bad for edge guarding just like thor's orb dsig. Why would you want to knock your enemy up? the damage is weak too and only kills in dark red. other than that the move can be easily avoided by not standing directly in front of him.


NSIG: Artemis's neutral sig makes her throw an orb in front of her and when in contact with an enemy makes her pierce them through their chest with her lance. This does great damage and knocks your opponent into the sky which is what a neutral sig should do.

Orion's neutral sig although powerful is bad because its hitbox is more wide than far, therefore it wont hit unless your'e too close to him.

The other one

Even though these two share lance as their weapon Artemis also has a scythe where Orion has a spear.

Scythe is a great weapon with amazing string potential and good movement, although it doesn't kill easily Artemis's sigs will take care of that, scythe is a great weapon and anyone who thinks that scythe is broken or for tryhards is just a player that needs to learn how to play well. Multiple professional players have said that scythe is not broken.

Spear on the other hand has annoying attacks like dair which hits at stupid range. Sair has a lot of horizontal movement and easily dodged. nair has small range and will rarely hit unless your'e stacked with the enemy. the movements on the ground are fine but weak.

Lore

Lore is not important to the game in any way but if you do read it you figure out that Artemis is way stronger then Orion.

In Artemis's lore you learn that at first she was a normal human who lived a normal life and that she loved to read the story about Greek mythology how the hunter Artemis killed Orion. Then when she got her power she attempted to make a worm hole to valhalla to kill Orion, however instead she went to deep space and what did she do? She quickly reacted by making a cocoon of oxygen taken from nearby worlds and made her armor out of a star!
She then continued venture on and even defeated the Lance star champion's fleet withing seconds.
She even imploded the Leviathan of Eons.
This clearly shows how strong Artemis really is.


But if we look at Orion's lore however you learn that he fell from the sky, beaten from whatever fought him. and needed a new set of armor created by the sons of Ivaldi. His own armor was too weak to protect him so he needed to be turnt into a walking banana. That and he came in a trail of blazing fire so you can imagine how burnt and ugly his actual face must be.

Overall

Clearly you can now see that Artemis is better than Orion in every way.

Orion is just a steaming pile of banana and onion garbage.

Yellow. Man. Bad.
