How to repair EAC for Rust

Repairing EAC is something that is sometimes needed to fix errors that occur in Rust and this guide will show you how to do it step by step

Locating the Easy Anti Cheat folder

To repair EAC you will need to locate the Easy Anti Cheat folder and run EasyAntiCheat.exe.

By default the EAC folder will be found under your C drive → Program files → EasyAntiCheat
To navigate to this first load up the file explorer

Now on the left hand side of the window you will be greeted with this.
Either navigate straight to your C drive at the bottom or go to 'This PC' and then go to your C drive.
(Please note I have named my drives and yours will not look the same, just look for the C drive)



Now click on 'Program Files (x86)'



Now click on 'EasyAntiCheat'



Now you are in the correct folder run 'EasyAnticheat.exe'
(Please note the '.exe' may not show for you, run the application)

EasyAntiCheat.exe

Once you load EasyAntiCheat.exe you will be greeted with this window after allowing "this app to make changes to your device"



Now you need to select 'Rust' from the dropdown menu



And hit 'Repair'

This will now repair EAC for Rust.

Now hit 'finish' to close the window


You are all done!

none of the fixes worked for me except going to rust.exe and opening rust directly was my workaround.

it doesnt work when i do that it just gives me some errors and i paid 22 euros so if this will not work im going to get my money back

@themad.patter same bro my rust crashes a lot so ALL THE TIME and i meant ALL THE TIME before starting the game i have to do this its fucking annoying.
