Description
Car Horn (Framework)
Current version 1.1

Changelog:
-Fixed OffroadHatchback Internal Sound to match external.

Installing this mod will give a "Toot Horn" action to cars in DayZ. Warning: Infected are not happy when they hear it!
It also allows modders who create custom vehicles to set a custom horn sound for their vehicles for servers who use this mod (no dependency required).

Players:
Install the mod on your client and join a server that uses it!

Server Owners:
Install the mod on your client to download.
Right click on the mod in Launcher and Browse Files
Copy the @CarHorn directory to your DayZServer directory root
add -mod=@CarHorn to your launch parameters (or ;@CarHorn after other mods)
Copy CleetusV3.bikey from inside @CarHorn/keys to the Keys directory in the root of your DayZServer

NOTE: This is required on both client and server to function. I highly suggest verifySignatures=3; to be set in serverDZ.cfg.
Be sure to copy the provided Key from Keys to your Keys folder.

Vehicle Modders:
To provide support for your custom vehicles, you simply create a pair of SoundSets (internal muffled and external clear) in your config.cpp and add the following line to your CfgVehicles entry class for your vehicle:
hornSoundSetINT="myHornINTSoundSetName"; hornSoundSetEXT="myHornEXTSoundSetName";
It's as simple as that!.

PERMISSION IS NOT GRANTED FOR THIS MOD TO BE INCLUDED IN A "SERVER PACK" or "MOD PACK".

the sound in the video is the default horn for modded vehicles that are made without inheriting from the OffroadHatchback or other existing core vehicles

The horn does not sound as in the video? Why? The sound in the video was funny..

that is a bug with the sound system that I'm trying to get a resolution for... yes, it is known that when you hit something (bad driver), it will play the crash sound along with the horn, which makes literally 0 sense

I do not think this mod damages the car but the sound is unstable, sometimes when I stream and I honk there is a broken car noise with each shot. It's surprising that people think I'm breaking the car: D

It seems to damage the car somehow

There should be 0 effect on the spark plug, I don't do anything with the spark plug attachment

It seems honking the Horn damages the Spark Plug. Any settings recommended?
