Description
A makeshift automated sentry turret made using scrounged up supplies, and one of the numerous MAC-10 submachine guns lying around.

Hold the attack button to deploy the turret. The turret will automatically fire at targets in range. Press the use key to replenish the turret ammunition, hold it to recover the turret.

This is a scripted custom weapon that doesn't replace any other weapon. Requires the Custom Weapon Base.

I don't use custom weapons, but I came across this and just wanted to say hats off. This is a really cool concept for a game like L4D2 and has seemingly been executed very well.

@kurochama No your mod doesn't work either. It's ok though it's not ya'll fault, most likely a mod conflicting with them preventing me from deploying them. The flamethrower did work though.

It could also be something like auto-reload console scripts, since the turret requres holding down the fire button to place.

I made a modified standalone version with Mr. Rectus's permission, which replaces baseball bat & doesn't need custom weapon base anymore as I merged the modified custom weapon base in the scripts. I regularly tested this & worked with many other script mods enabled. If my modified version also doesn't work on you, then it's more likely that there's conflict with one or some of your script mods.
