Description
The Dread Necromancer is a complete reimagining of Necromancer - while it shares many of the themes and names, and has a few talents retained, it's effectively an entirely new take on the class.
It still uses mana and souls, but souls behave quite differently. You can store up to 5, and regenerate and can retain up to 3 out of combat. Damage dealt by you and your minions grant soul fragments, and you gain a soul when you obtain a sufficient amount. Souls are used both to summon minions, and for your more powerful spells.
Depending on your categories chosen you can have powerful, temporary minions, weaker mass minions that last indefinitely in combat, or a single minion with customization options.

I've just managed to successfully update it, so should be good for now. The aforementioned bug with the bone giant's speeds and errors should be resolved - that was fixed in an earlier patch, but I wasn't able to update it here. You might be 'stuck' with your super bone giant until you remake the character though.

Sorry for my crappy english, I'm not a native speaker. Very nice class reimagining! I'm having so much fun with it, but I think bone giant is very OP. I just started to learn his skill tree, and he is already very fast (over 2000% speed, lol) and powerful. Also I'm having a lot of error windows popping up each move, when I'm using an advanced minions skill tree (not with bone giant skill tree, of course). Right now I'm not playing with this class, but then I do, I'll try to send you some of error logs that will pop up while I'm playing. Thank you for this class, keep up the good work, good luck!

I doubt there's a fix for that bug, it happened to my addon aswell and I had to delete it and reupload it. I couldn't find a fix... It's a really annoying bug, I feel your pain!

Just a fyi for anyone playing this - there's currently a bug that prevents some people from uploading addons to Steam, which is affecting me. Until this is resolved, I'd recommend clicking on the forum link in the description and downloading the addon from te4.org to make sure you have the latest version. I'll let you know when this has been fixed.

Been hoping for some necromancy love that doesn't just add more options for them (and more importantly, is updated). I think the original necro is okay, but needed some tweaks (specifically, turning off the unquestionably annoying aura that stands to just stop your minions from going off too far, and the fact that your minions are more deadly than the enemies are for a long while), so personally, this is a much cooler implementation of a necromancer! Only thing I miss is the lich form, as that's one of the cooler ideas of the necro, but other than that, this is far better imo!
