BR Class 377 - Southern

The Class 377 Electrostar is a British dual-voltage electric multiple unit train (EMU) built by Bombardier Transportation at its Derby Litchurch Lane Works, from 2001 to 2014. The Electrostar family is the most numerous type of EMU built in the post-privatisation period of Britain's railways.

Built in the early 2000s, the units had a troubled introduction; being fully air-conditioned, their higher power consumption compared to the slam-door Mark 1 stock that they replaced led to major upgrades being required to the 750 V DC third-rail power supply used in the former Southern region.

This pack contains configurations for:

- Class 377/2 - DMOC-MOSL-PTOSL-DMOC
- Class 377/3 - DMOC-PTOSL(no pantograph)-DMOC
- Class 377/4 - DMOC-MSOL-PTOSL(no pantograph)-DMOC
- Class 377/6 - DMOC-MSOL-PTOSL(no pantograph)-MOSL-DMOC

Available from 2000

Top speed: 100 MPH (160 KM/H)
- 55 (377/3)
- 75 (377/2/4)
- 95 (377/6/7)

would you ever consider doing a first capital Connect reskin for this train?
Avro Apr 16 @ 10:17am
@thinskin45 I was on the WMR today and I was thinking how similar the 172s are to this mod! I really hope they do it. Pretty much needs the pantograph removing and a bit of reskinning

Finally an Electrostar! Please do a Greater Anglia/Great Northern livery for the train!

Hey Yung Lenin, are you considering doing the Class 170s? The Class 172 as operated by West Midland Railway (formally London Midland Railway) looks basically like a diesel version of this with two and three coach variants. Would be awesome to see a conversion!

@Chris Packham use the UK 3rd Rail mod by Killakanz. If you set a station to use cantenary (be electrified) then connect to it using 3rd rail track, the overhead wires will change to 3rd rail. You can find it here:
