Boeing-SOAR MH-47E Chinook - kgb61393

Hello there.

This mod is the continuation of Konyo123 mod. He stopped his mod and I guessed we really need an MH-47E for ArmA III, you can find the original mod here

I have his authorization to upload his mod

Version 1.6


- Ace Fastroppe compatibility added
- ACRE compatibility added
- Action colour of the lower ramp changed to green, raise ramp to red, level ramp to grey


- Fastroppe not coming from the rear and crew chief door but 2 ropes are coming from the rear


- See if copilot FLIR vison mode are correct, should be only IR and Day TV
- Fix glitches of empty shell and M134 muzzle smoke coming from the middle to the aircraft
- Make the chopper AFM compatible, actually tried it but have some problem, wheel go under ground and when someone take controles chopper explose, so problem may comes from the wheels, help is please welcomed.
- Change or improve Artificial Horizon and Direction Indicator Flight Instrument
- Maybe make some fastroppe configuration, like 2 rear, 1 rear and 1 front right, only 1 front right
- Updated radio action control, maybe changed or add some radio sound
- See if the reverted USA flag should be like this or not (you know, the america flag never retreat rule)
- Actually work will only be focused on the MH-47E familly, it would change the Chinook CH-47E HC3 too but its not my priority right now

Hey mate, could you add the selection: rtd_center to the memory LODs, because it's the only thing the helicopter needs to work with the rotorlib

this selection can see in arma3 samples > Test_Heli_01.p3d

@L/Sgt KGB 613 If you're talking about my version i'm willing to work on the full source with you, I asked Konyo123 a few months ago but he already passed the source on to you, theres limited things that I can do to it without the source files.

I'm sorry to say no, actually it is delayed. I see that someone release an other version which is better from my point of view, just after me so quite bad to have to version running in same time. :steamsad:

@KGB61393 what was the reason for removing the fast roping at the side door on the right side of the aircraft? In real life they can go from 2 in the ramp or one on the crew chief side as well.

When using Track IR in the co-pilot seat your head is stuck following the orentation of the camera. And the Back Ramp Person can't talk on Acre Intercom. Awesome Mod!

ok, I created a Keys folder and put my .bikey in but actually cannot update the mod : steam error code 2, steam error message : fail - generic failure. So steam should have problems, gonna update it latter

@KGB61393 the bisign file will automatically pop up in the mod directory. You have to copy and paste the .bikey file from wherever you have your public and private keys saved into the mod folder though before you upload it. Just make sure you're copying the public .bikey and not the private .bikey.
