Umbra Company is a different breed. No more smokeleaf high Pirates.

A private military company started by crashlanded survivors who thrived and inspired many to fend for themselves.

Originally named "The Shepherds" right until the death of their colony leader. Her partner, taking over as the new commander then re-branded the faction into what it is today and it has since become one of the most feared and dangerous mercenary groups out in the Rim, trading away the original ideals for profit and any excuse for violence.

Due to their use of tactics and organisation, outlanders, pirates and tribals couldn't stand a chance against this new enemy that once knocked gently on their doors with support. Background of the original leaders were ex-military, so this suggests their soldiers are trained with high standards.

Umbra Company is known to distrust all those around them, a strict "shoot first and ask questions never" policy. Be sure to be on the lookout if you plan on crossing paths with them, goodluck.

The faction no longer has vehicles. APCs and the faction tank is no longer a part of the mod due to the 1.0 update breaking their code, spdskatr has not updated his patch ever since. Back to the ol' A17 roots of Infantry only for Umbra Company, goodluck taking them on.

Hey, I'm using Rimworld with the unstable version and the startup impact mod, and this mod alone takes 200+ seconds to load. Is it because of the upcoming tanks and stuff ?

Umbra Company will receive an update. The BTR-70 APC and MBT-70 Tank will be added into the faction as they were initially intended to, this faction will now be more deadly to deal with than they already are due to the addition of these vehicles. B18 was wild, but with the current stats the 1.0 version of these armored fighting vehicles will be a lot more difficult to deal with for your colonists if you intend on fighting them with bullets alone (the ol' fashioned way)

Anybody who uses "What The Hack" may enjoy this and take those vehicles for them to control, but I'm leaving an advanced note and warning to those who may not like the upcoming changes.

Tank coding has been updated, which means War Mongrels and other factions that use them are coming soon.

@Arey - The gear isn't craftable because it makes the mod lightweight. I didn't have to make crafting benches and code recipes this way. This was a way to make it easier for me to mass-produce factions for Project Red Horse. They may be craftable for a separate mod later, "Rimmu-Nation Clothing"

Well that makes more sense, it just scared the hell out of me, because I wasn't too far in to the game and killed off a few of my better pawns. Thanks for the reply.

@Smokeyd - Hello there, pardon for the late reply. This mod does the following:

- Add new enemy faction
- New pawntypes that uses custom gear
- New weapons used by faction
- Other gear such as food and etc. used by faction.
- It behaves like any other vanilla faction mod.

The mod you use combined with "MinifyEverything" (or other mods similar) lets enemy NPCs uninstall your walls. It's got nothing to do with me, this mod wasn't intended to do that and nothing in this mod's code allows that to happen.

I've checked that mod and it does have multiple reports about the same thing from other users that aren't using Umbra Company
