Multiple levels in Sandstone.
  • 5% (0-9 blocks under the surface).
  • 25% (10-15 blocks under the surface).
  • 5% (13-30 blocks under the surface).
(Keep in mind, 13-15 under the surface have ~30% chance to spawn ironore.)

************************************************************

Also in Grasslands (but less quantity).

10% In Sandstone (0-70 blocks under from surface).

Multiple levels in Granite.
  • 5% (5-20 blocks under the surface).
  • 40% (20-30 blocks under the surface).
  • 8% (30-40 blocks under the surface).
Keep in mind, in Eco, at minimap layers you need select "Boreal Forest" to find taiga.
Also, Taiga covered by Basalt (you need modern or steel pickaxe+talent to break it!). For find a way under Basalt, need lot of mining (under the slopes of the mountains) or dig a tunnel from another biome.

Also in Tundra (but less quantity).

Multiple levels in Granite.
  • 3% (5-30 blocks under the surface).
  • 9% (30-40 blocks under the surface).

"if you can't find route deeper (e.g. from another biome) you feel free to dig copper in another biomes. Ton of basalt only in taiga."

so copper is spawning in ervery biome? or do i need do dig around the basalt in tundra and boresl forest?
