Where to find and how to get the East Empire Pendants

Introduction

The East Empire Pendants were once used as employee incentives, but are no longer being produced. As a result of stopping production the pendants became a valuable collector's item. One collector in particular, Fethis Alor in Raven Rock, lets you know that he is offering to pay 500 septims for each pendant that you may find, althoug the regular value of a pendant is a mere 25 septims. Offering the pendants to other merchants will therefore provide you with less than 25 septims.

The pendants can be found in 33 East Empire Company strongboxes throughout Solstheim, most of these at locations marked on the map, bus also in unmarked locations. If the stronbox is in an unmarked location, the location is included among the nearest marked location. Six of the strongboxes are owned. Taking the pendant and other (valuable) items from these strongboxes is considered stealing, except when you have raised the owner's disposition high enough.

Strongboxes in respawning locations will provide new pendants as soon as the location has been reset, unless you have installed the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch or the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.

All strongboxes are Expert level locked. If you do not have an Unofficial Patch installed, the strongboxes in Morvayn Manor Chambers and Temple Ancestral Tomb will be unlocked.

Raven Rock

Alor House

Owned: Yes
The EEC strongbox can be found downstairs in the southeast room on a table near the east wall.

The Bullwark

Owned: Yes
The EEC strongbox can be found in the back on the right on a table in the northeast corner.

Caerelius House

Owned: Yes
The EEC strongbox can be found on a wall ledge in the northwest corner of the first room.

Glover Mallory's House

Owned: Yes
The EEC strongbox can be found on a small shelf in the northwest corner of the first room.

Morvayn Manor Chambers

Owned: Yes
The EEC strongbox can be found in the first room on a ledge to the left of the door.

Northern Maiden

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found below the dock where the Northern Maiden moors, next to a pearl oyster.

Raven Rock Mine (2 strongboxes)

Owned: No

• The first one can be found upstairs in the first room under the table.
  
• The second one can be found deeper in the mine in the room after breaking the boards, atop a crate to the right of the gate.

The Retching Netch

Owned: Yes
The EEC strongbox can be found on the bottom shelf of Geldis Sadri's bar in the center.

Temple Ancestral Tomb

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found in the northernmost alcove in the ash with a pile of bones.

Solstheim

Ashfallow Citadel (3 strongboxes)

Owned: No

• The first one can be found inside the citadel west of the entrance on a shelf that is half burries in ash.
  
• The second one can be found in an unmarked Reaver camp across the stream west of the citadel, next to a bedrol west of the campfire.
  
• The third one can be found in an unmarked camp, where Usha lies dead. Follow the stream west of the citadel north to a barred gate. You have to gain access to Usha's camp from the top of the mountains. The strongbox is on the east side between a low table and a chest.

Benkongerike

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found in the easternmost room of Benkongerike Great Hall upstairs on the east side on top of a barrel.

Bristleback Cave

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found in the north part of the cave, the easternmost area and the south part of that area on top of a barrel.

Brodir Grove

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found north of the cooking spit on an EEC crate.

Broken Tusk Mine

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found outside on top of a crate above the mine's entrance.

Damphall Mine

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found northeast of the mine entrance on a wooden platform with barrels, a chest and a few crates. At Damphall Mine, head north until you see a few patches of snowberries. The platform is just past the snowberries to the left.

Fort Frostmoth

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found in a small room, left from the main entrance, on a shelf on the
bottom in a pile of ash.

Frossel (2 strongboxes)

Owned: No

• This EEC strongbox can be found in the south corner of the eastmost room, after the first tripwire claw trap.
  
• This EEC strongbox can be found on the eastern coast of the island north of Frossel, the island with the giant nirnroots, in a boat between a chest and a barrel.

Glacial Cave

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found outside, east of the entrance, half burried in the snow between some crates.

Haknir's Shoal (2 strongboxes)

Owned: No

• This EEC strongbox can be found in the back corner of the tent south of the campfire.
  
• This EEC strongbox can be found on an island north of Haknir's Shoal and northwest of Frossel at the top of the larger Riekling structure.

Horker Island

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found on the east coast of the island, just north of a partially sunken ship, next to a chest and a clam.

Hrodulf's House

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found on the bottom of a small shelf on the west side of the house.

Hrothmund's Barrow

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found southwest of Hrothmund's Barrow and north-northwest of Moesring Pass, on the north side of a cindering fire at the center of a few crates and barrels. A dead Reaver lies next to it.

Moesring Pass (2 strongboxes)

Owned: No

• This EEC strongbox can be found north of the Strange Vessel on top of an end table.
  
• This EEC strongbox can be found south-southwest of Moesring Pass and northwest of Frostmoon Crag near a shrine of Zenithar and a few ore veins and geodes.

Northshore Landing

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found on the bookshelf on the south wall of the shack.

Ramshackle Trading Post

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found outside on a crate near the west wall of the building.

Vahlok's Tomb

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found east-southeast of Vahlok's Tomb in a tent in a small Dunmer camp, where two Dunmer lies dead, killed by Rieklings.

Wreck of the Strident Squall

Owned: No
The EEC strongbox can be found on the bottom of a bookshelf on the southeast side in one of the lower decks.
