Description
Adds the Anangu to the game under the leadership of Tjilpi!

The custodians of Uluru, the Anangu, are known for their deep connection to the land around them. For millennia they have sustained themselves off of the land surrounding Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and other natural wonders, which they believe to have been constructed by their ancestors in the Dreamtime. This connection to nature and their ancestors is best exemplified in the moral code of Tjukurpa, the foundation for all of Anangu life.

Anangu
Civilization Ability: Tjukurpa
Natural Wonders provide double their base yields in cities that follow your majority religion. Holy Sites built on Breathtaking tiles provide an additional Great Prophet Point per turn. Cities founded on appealing tiles receive additional Housing. (+2 in Charming, +4 in Breathtaking.)

Unique Unit: Warmala
Recon unit that replaces the Warrior unique to Anangu. Receives a free Promotion when moving adjacent to a Natural Wonder for the first time. Has additional Combat Strength depending on the appeal of the tile it is fighting on. (+3 on Average, +5 on Charming, +7 on Breathtaking.)

Unique Improvement: Wiltja
Improvement unique to Anangu, unlocked at Animal Husbandry. Can only be built on flat land or Desert Hills with Charming appeal or above. +0.5 Housing, +1 Culture. +1 Production when built on Desert. Provides Food equal to 50% of the appeal of the tile. Additional Culture and Tourism as the game progresses.

Tjilpi
Leader Ability: Remembrance of the Tjukaritja
Holy Sites and Theater Squares provide +1 Food, +1 Faith to adjacent Desert tiles. +1 Appeal to all tiles in cities with both of these districts. Gain access to the Ngangkari unique unit with the Mysticism civic.

Leader Unique Unit: Ngangkari
Medic replacement unique to Tjilpi's Anangu that is unlocked much earlier, at Mysticism. Heals adjacent military units every turn. When stationed in a city center it provides +1 Amenity and increases the appeal of all tiles in that city by +1. Must be purchased with Faith.

Mod Support
- YNAEMP
- Historical Religions
- Terra Mirabilis
- Sukritact's Natural Wonders

Special Thanks:
- TopHatPaladin for providing inspiration for civ design, icons, city lists and more.

NOTE: The Unique ability has a small bug where tiles adjacent to two or more tiles of the same natural wonder will only receive +1 of the usual yield. For example, the tile adjacent to three tiles of Mount Roraima will only yield +4 Science and Faith rather than the +6 it technically should. Unfortunately, this bug appears to be unfixable, but it also helps prevent some wonders (Roraima, Grand Canyon, etc.) from being overpowered.

SECOND NOTE: The Anangu use Australia's music. The mod should work without the Australia DLC, but there will be no music. Also, their TSL is god-awful without the DLC.

Spam Holy Sites and Theater Squares. Put Ngangkaris in every city. Scatter Wiltjas around. Build Eiffel Tower. Win game.

Thank you very much for your indigenous civs! They're great to play with.

This is a great mod and a good civ! any chance you're able to map his design onto some movement so it feels a bit more alive like the AI.

Perhaps with the power of AI or sometthing. I couldnt mod anything so Im not asking thinking its possible, just that it would make this already great mod better :)

As An Australian (Not Native F.Y.I.) I Feel Respected About Atleast Some Of The Native's History And Culture Is In Civ. VI, But I Have An Mod I Feel Like Should Be Supported To This Mod,
The Mod In Question Is:
"Tomatekh's Historical Religions" Since It Has The Religion, Dreamtime
If Added, Thank You

hi "Durkle" I need to add your civilization in the true start location in the TOTALSLACKER "Play The World" map, I need to know your database, for example to add a GEDEMO civilization in the map its is ""CIVILIZATION_GEDEMO_TIMURID" in your case : "CIVILIZATION_......._Anangu"

Thank you

Thank you very much for making this awesome civ!

As a (non indigenous) Australian I appreciate that this part of Australian history & culture is represented.

Some thoughts for potential balance type updates to the civ:

- nerf the appeal bonuses. Too much stacking! It's not quite OP, but it's unnecessary.
- appeal based combat bonus for all units? Or all melee units? This would be on par with Japan or Spain, and give an extra 'dimension' for the civ (and a defensive bonus!)
- something weird like recon promo tree for all units? (I don't think I upgraded my unique units to see what happens...)
- could the warrior unit be a 1 range spearman, maybe like the Persian unit: combat strength higher than ranged strength?
- unique improvement to get culture, or at least tourism, that scales with appeal. It was super sad to replace them all with seaside resorts.

In earth map true start locations, it starts in the tundra. Can it be fixed to start in Australia ?

Hey there! Don't know if you take requests but I had an idea for a nice Iroquois Civ and appreciate how many Native American civs you've made. Either way, love your work!

The mod seems to be working fine, it loads into the game and I tested some functions, doesn't appear to be particularly broken. Which exact part do you find outdated, so I may look into it?
