[KIR]Return of the Minigun Centipedes

Returns the Minigun back to Mechanoid Centipedes as one of the possible weapons they can spawn with. Via by Patching...

Many years ago during the Mechanoid War of 5000 in the Rims, The Centipedes used Three Weapons, The Dreaded Inferno Cannon, Heavy Charge Blaster and the Minigun.

But that all Changed when their Program upgraded into the "V1.0 Version" ditching their Old Miniguns since they are considered the least dangerous when armed with them and went with Two Weapons Instead,

However this all changed when their AI Programs were Hacked or Modified back to their
"B.18 And A.16 Versions" decided to go back with the Gunpowder Industrial Miniguns,
once again with vengeance...

Because the Minigun has a movement speed penalty when wielded, this mod also effects the Heavy charge blaster and Inferno Cannon by giving them the same movement speed penalty as the Minigun, Balance!...


Q: Can the Centipedes Drop the Miniguns, Free Miniguns?!

A: Nope when they drop the Miniguns when they die, It magically disappears.

Q: Minigun Centipede are kinda Slow...

A: As they were back then in the Alphas, i also made the other weapons for the Centipedes like the inferno cannon to slow them down, so they can still be with their Centipede bros and that you can use Hit n Run tactics easily...

Q: Minigun Centipede too Strong & OP!!

A: Use the Same Tactics that you use aganist Charge Blaster Centipedes like using long-ranged Charge Lances or Sniper Rifles, or Gang up on one with your Brawlers and Trained Animals... Or use EMP-Nades and Explosives!

What is OP though is Inferno Cannon Centipedes...

Mod Compatability
Should run fine with mods that modifiy the Minigun or the Centipedes...

Though if you get a mod that makes the Minigun Strong or Overpowered and a Centipede spawns with a Minigun...
I won't complain or you wanted a Challenge or you're feeling Masochistic...

With CE, this probably makes mechanoids easier, because the HCB uses 16mm Charged, which is equivalent to .63 caliber, which is massive. That leads to complete annihilation in some cases, with an unarmored pawn taking a full burst of standard (yellow) bullets not only dying, but completely disintegrating.

From EMP Grenades, and EMP IEDs including EMP mortars to stun them from using their worse weapons, especially if they are using Inferno Cannons...

Just make sure your guys have Charge Rifles or are using Plasteel Melee Blades or Uranium Blunt Melee Weapons for the Brawlers... ;)

Yeah I was wondering because Combat Extended adds ammo and I didn't know if they would spawn with ammo or not. And Combat Extended makes miniguns pretty op. (I think they shoot a burst of 200 rounds or something.)

Hey just updated this mod...

Not much just for the multi-version mod support thing...

Also yeah Inferno Cannon Centipedes are big nasties of the Three, just avoid going close to a Centipede with a Charge Blaster as they are more deadlier up close and more accurate with those weapons in short range, turning your colonist into swiss cheese... :cozyjunimogreen:

lets be honest, inferno cannon centipedes were the only real threat of the three. though, this one time a centipede did manage to unload a full charge blaster volley at point blank range into one of my colonists causing instant death, it was impressive if not rather irritating
