Overlay issues? Cannot create an account? Follow these steps!

Try these step, I posted it in another thread


1 - Use the Disk Cleanup tool in windows. When you open it, place a checkmark on all the boxes.



2 - Click the box labelled "Clean up system files"



3 - Click OK to clean the rest of the junk that accumulates on your PC over time

4 - Clean the cache in your browser(s)

5 - If you are using a Virus program, place the gameguard folder as an exception to your virus program, the folder is located in the game file directory:

--- (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Uncharted Waters Online (for 64 bit systems)

or

---C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Uncharted Waters Online for (32bit systems) again, as an exception in your virus program.

6 - Flush your DNS - Instructions here and very easy

It was never meant to be able to link your existing Papaya account to use through Steam

"They do not link up" - what do you mean? Do the STEAM version players are... Separated from the others? Is there ... "multiple universes"? :)

Unfortunately, You cannot play your already created PapayaPlay account through Steam. They do not link up. I do not know if that was ever the plan, but I will try to find out.

Ok, but if I alrady have an account I still cannot log-in in the STEAM version. I have to delete STEAM version and use stand alone one.

I like the UWO game but I cannot suggest this one due to mentioned before reason!

Really developers disappointed me with this "STEAM reverance".
