To have the Magnetic TLP Cannon barrels rotate as you fire, download Iridar's mod [WOTC] Spinning Barrels for TLP Magnetic Cannon.

Just after telling I wouldn't do it, I do it. Way to go me.

Greetings, workshop people!

You should know whay this mod is all about. It adds the vanilla cannon animations to the TLP Magnetic and Plasma cannons. Basically carry them like a rifle, shoot 'em like a cannon.

Just llike its predecessor, this mod can be used in 2 different ways:
1- To give TLP Magnetic and Plasma Cannons the vanilla cannon animations
2- To substitute the vanilla Magnetic and Plasma cannons models with the TLP ones AND give them the vanilla cannon animations.

By default, the mod is set to function number 1. Instructions on how to switch between these functions can be found in the ReadMe (which you should ACTUALLY READ) which can be found in:

All the inis referenced in the ReadMe are inside the Config folder.

Q: Does this work mid-campaign and mid-tactical?
A: Yes, it does.

Q: I have a bug/issue. How can I report it?
A: I'll set up a Bug Report thread. Report there.

Q: I don't quite understand, EVEN AFTER CAREFULLY READING THE DESCRIPTION AND THE README, how to use this mod. How can you help?
A: Drop a comment asking for help and I'll add you ASAP so we can chat and hopefully resolve the issue.

Special Thanks:
- Iridar, the poor man.
- Team CX, 'cause Highlander. And general friendliness. And patience. What's not to like about them?

@Tilting Cat this version uses the vanilla animation, the abandoned version uses the Cannon Redux Animations but has some bugs that are listed in the mod description. Which to use depends on what you want.

so on the abandoned mod it said to use this one but for a working one it linked to the abandoned one(since i use cannon redux) if i use the cannon redux do i use this or the abandoned one?

The mod is now compatible with Iridar's [WOTC] Spinning Barrels for TLP Magnetic Cannon! Enjoy!

@OverEnglishMan bit late to the mix, but you can simply download and activate WSR and then forget about it. Without the proper configuration, it'll only be useful to this mod and not do anything else.

@Mr Nice
So I could install it and then just gut everything about it so it only supplies the grips for this? Doesn't "declutter" the weapon menu at all? Cool! I'll go do that! Thanks

You don't have to configure and take advantage of WSR's other features it you don't want to, just because it's enabled

Ah, might just have to stick with wonky anims then. I like having a hilariously overfilled weapon stock because I can swap on the fly instead of pissing about with code names in inis and trying to remember things. (My intellect was not moditifed). Thanks for replying!

@OverEnglishMan Iridar's WSR is used to add the foreground and reagrip to the weapons in method 1, and to add foregrip/reagrip to the weapons AND substitute the vanilla Cannon models with the TLP ones in method 2. No matter the method, you always have to use WSR otherwise your soldier will hold the air while shooting. Hope that helps.

P.S: Good job with the videos man! Keep it up ;D

Question: "DO NOT SKIP THE REQUIRED ITEMS, THEY ARE NECESSARY" - does that mean Iridar's replacer is necessary even if we only use method 1?
