Invisible Wagon

Description
Adds an invisible rail wagon, to enable shunting engines to wait at stations (using full load & wait time). For visual purposes only. For example, in conjuction with the Zig Zag station mod or the GWR Turntable scenery mod, the engine will now wait before turning around. It carries 1 unit of any standard freight, so set a freight type not available at the station, if it goes to a real cargo station.

Available from 1850. No costs. No speed limit.

Invisible Wagon is invisible.

I thought of i.e. 60, 70, 80, 90 kph wagons; and I can think of two uses:
- If multiple lines use the same set of tracks, adding invisible waggons of the same speed to every train would avoid permanent stop and go behaviour
- More importantly; if you have a freight line that is slightly too long for it to work with up-to-date trains, you could reduce transport costs by adding a waggon like this, and thereby use the route with more powerful locomotives and more modern waggons.

-> difference to track speeds is that they don't influence the transport/travel costs, which are calculated using train speed (and low speed tracks still cause random breaking/stopping bugs)

@Incrediblejimmy - It would be possible. There are various speed of waggon and engine mods, and also the track speed mods, that already exist. Would this suggestion allow doing something significantly different than what can already be done with other mods? What sort speed limits were you thinking of, like 5mph - 20mph to emulate shunting?

Invisible wagons are a great idea - just one thought: Could a set of these be used to regulate speeds of trains?

Nice one! Hope you can make the 'Thank You' version work.

@Feurigel - I can't help with that, but this existing mod may help you: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1376802522

Hey can you make a mod with invisible wagons that have quite the heavy weight? Because in Transport Fever everything is too light and too power ful and I want to slow down the accleration of trains.

Also some trains and wagons are too fast and I want to slow down like have the iron ore train move only at 80 km/h when it is fully loaded and 100km/h for average heavy freight. Also trains break as if they always have an emergency. In real life trains break more smoothly. Is there a way to make a powered car that is heavy but powers itself and has really really bad breaks to simulate reality a littble bit better?

Thx. This mod already helps me with super heavy freight trains.

A good mod, a bit like an inverse of the invisible fake loco often used to place decorative unpowered wagons around a yard. I particularly like your Thank You Patch idea!

Just a quick mod I knocked up, as I didn't find anything already available to do it. When the TpF Thank You Patch is released (with reversing multiple units), I may add a version that will allow shunting engines to reverse, instead of turn around (if it works well).
