Description
This mod gives the plated/powered versions of the faction hero armors an additional utility slot.

Moreover, Tactical Rigging has been revamped to function like Deep Pockets from XCOM: Enemy Within, granting the soldier an extra use of every utility item in their inventory.

Hopefully, this should prevent your Reapers from being unable to use utility items for the entire duration of the game as result of a poor random ability deck roll, and should allow Templars to compete with Skirmishers in terms of battlefield utility.

If you want SPARKs to have a utility slot as well, set SPARK_UTILITY_SLOT to true in XComHeroArmorEquality.ini.

This mod works both mid-campaign and mid-tactical.

@Old Ben Yup, that's probably the reason for it. I just tested the utility slot configuration, and it seems to work perfectly with the NUM_SLOTS value. I know that the SPARK can have utility slots, seeing how this, Trainable Sparks, and many other SPARK mods give them it.

I get the hero armor utility slot, but I do not get any Spark utility slot by following your instructions above. I also use another mod "[WOTC] Trainable Sparks (and other Buffs)" that gives an ammo slot. Perhaps their is a conflict between the two or Spark cannot have utility slots ?

Thanks, you do mention it but I didn't make the association. So for example a Reaper with tactical rigging will have one slot, but two uses of her grenade.

@Charlemagne Since an armor can only benefit from the extra utility slot boolean only once, it will not stack. That being so, I made sure Tactical Rigging was still useful in amplifying the power of utility items. What other abilities are you thinking of that give an extra slot?

This does not appear to work with RPGO, at least not in my current campaign.

@Charchu It should work with everything. Richards Hero Classes Rework in particular has no correlation to these changes whatsoever.
