I had to go into the main menu mod list and the config there to make it work again like i want it to, but after that it definitly works again.

Both have been in vanilla for a while. Ergo this mod is totally useless if that's all it does.

1.4 is not working for me. No mod conflicts but I didn't get any alerts when a predator hunted a child.

@Elkstone Not if you switch to the letter option and have it pause the game the second the alert pops up.
