Fixing Camera-Rotating Problem (via Steam Overlay)

How I fixed my 360 controller's camera-rotating problem

Procedures

1.

You can open the Steam Overlay's Controller Configuration tool by pressing Shift+Tab on the keyboard, or pressing the steam button if you have a Steam controller.

Find Controller Configuration tab, and click in, it should look like this if you have a 360 controller.

Find the right analog stick setting window as shown in the picture, and click in. Don't mind the yellow circle, that's what I've done to make the camera stop spinning around.

Press the Start button to go into "Advanced Settings", and it should have more options now (if you are already in the advanced settings, ignore this step). Navigate to the "Additional Settings"

Now here is two alternative ways to achieve the same effect. You can either get 2 ticks on the "Dead Zone Inner", and then 6~9 ticks on the "Output Anti-Deadzone"; or you can first do the "Output Anti-Deadzone", and then give "Output Anti-Deadzone Buffer" 1~3 ticks, depending on your camera.


The yellow area is the Output Anti-Deadzone, and it can be used to detect slight movements of the analog stick, in compensation for the deadzone that we created.

Important:

For some people, the Deadzone Inner + Output Anti-Deadzone combo might not work, and thus it is recommended to use all three of these. Just set the Buffer to be the same as the Deadzone Inner, and you should be good to go. The camera might be less responsive sometimes, but at least the camera won't spin around crazily.
Try modificying the ticks of the Dead Zone Inner/Output Anti-Deadzone Buffer until you find the right ticks that would stop the camera from spinning. My controller required 1~2 ticks, but 1 ticks sometimes does not work, so I played safe and used 2 ticks.

I guess this should solve most people's problem with the rotating camera, but I cannot gurentee that. At least, I know this is the method that worked for me, so I am sharing this method for others who might need some help in tuning thier camera.
