This mod makes some of the indigenous tribes of Taiwan playable.

The mod adds:
*5 provinces in Taiwan, of which 1 is a wasteland.
*7 playable Taiwanese tribes.
*6 flavor events shared by the tribes.
*An Indigenous Taiwanese culture part of the Malay culture group. (Which represents the wider Austronesian group in the game.)
*Taiwanese ideas, shared by the Taiwanese tribes.
*The generic missions was modified, adding some new missions unique for Taiwan.
*Many indigenous names, unhistorically shared by all tribes. Ship names are very few.
*Added trees to Taiwan.PS. The tribes featured in the mod are tribes that have survived to modern days and do not necessarily represent the historical inhabitants of the game's time period.PSS. The Saisiyat icon is the exact pattern that the tribe used and is most famous for, as such, I opted to keep it for historical accuracy. (I guess I am doing selective authenticity.)Special thanks to:-hare, for doing research in mandarin on the indigenous Taiwanese tribes and modifying the art for their icons,and,-Roflcoffel, for helping me with scripting solutions and extensive testing.Lastly, I am sure the mod has many bugs that are yet to be found, please do report them in the comments and I will look into them if I can find the time to.

Maybe there could be some events assimilating Taiwanese indigenous peoples into some ethics like Chinese Taiwanese and Japanese Taiwanese, according to the first non-Austronesian Asian country colonised the island, in order to ease those annoying mainland Chinese?

I remember doing one of the Taiwan mod before, but man oh man, you even got province in it!
Have you ever thought about collaboration? We could make a game map just for Taiwan just like how did for Japan if you want!

@Uni, I like your way of thinking but the problem with this is that it makes it much harder to play as a taiwanese tribe early game, and it is already pretty difficult as it is. Maybe if Paradox implemented a function along the lines of 'foreign culture core creation cost' it would be feasible.

This mod is an insult to the People’s Republic of China. Taiwan has always, and forever will be, Chinese. This mod is almost as preposterous as saying Tibet was ever independent. (they have a gun to my head help)

I feel like instead of the naval force limit, one of the ambitions should certainly be hostile core-creation, seeing as the island wasn't conquered until the 18th and 19th centuries.

@TheDemonOrToad123 If there was a fitting model for Polynesian units I would have used them for Taiwan. hare actually started working on unique textures but stopped because she doesn't know how to edit the models, and it would have been required to make them look really nice.
