Description
Hello there, I'm the Bumbling Brit and I like to produce maps for Transport Fever to inspire and entertain as many players of the game as possible.

I'm delighted to present to you my latest creation – the Flying Scotsman Challenge!

Yes, a challenge! But that's not to stop you from just doing what you want.

The map contains all of the station stops for the East Coast Mainline, along with a selection of branch line locations such as Wakefield and Leeds. Also featured, are the major stops for the Teeside Loop.

For those seeking a historical experience, the map will enable you to connect London to Edinburgh.

For those seeking a challenge, the map comes complete with hand placed industries, with many of the raw materials placed in regions with a high concentration of the associated material. Can you connect all these industries to your East Coast Mainline network and meet the growing demands?

The map is sized 12K x 3K and will require experimental size maps to be enabled.

Despite the maps immense length, it has been created with performance in mind. It contains just 30 towns, 5 of which comprise London! So as long as your PC is up to the task, you can concentrate on your game without fear of a big performance hit down the line.

This is a map that I still consider to be in development and may update it in future. In particular, I would like to be able to place some industries further way from towns, but so far I have been unable to get around a distance limit from the towns. So the open spaces on the map may become less open in future!
