Void Knight [Definitive Edition]

Description
If you want fancy new skills and to feel like an absolute beast, this mod is for you.

Currently adds 23 skills in total including 4 Starter (lv.1), 4 Novice (lv.4), 5 Adept (lv.9), 4 Master (lv.13), 1 Summon and 5 Dragon Form skills.

Most of them scale with your weapon, the highest level requires 3 warfare and 1 scoundrel starting from 1 each at starter skills.

I try to make all the abilities as balanced as possible.

There are plenty of cheat mods out there if that's not your playstyle.

There are new void traders across the world so this also works on preexisting saves, but obviously you will need to buy the skill books.

TRADER LOCATIONS:
The traders will apparently run away if they see combat and end up in one of the corners in their spawn area. If they disappeared, this is a possibility.



Compatibility:
  • Compatible with everything else as far as I know.

  • If you are using any mod that changes status effects, put them after this mod in the load order.

  • If you want this mod to work with X mod that edits class presets:
    1. Extract my mod's pak
    2. Find the ClassVoidKnight.lsx file
    3. Edit the variables you want (Guide[docs.larian.game])
    4. Make a new project and put the .lsx file under Divinity Original Sin 2\Data\Mods\*YOUR MOD*\CharacterCreation\ClassPresets
    5. Local publish it and enable it in-game
    Sorry, I can't make a new optional file for every mod out there. This will work even if I make updates to my mod.

@Kieran- there are a few powers that don't give marks mostly because it would make pulling off the sweet boom too easy

Void Jump does not give Void Marks to damage foes. Is this normal ? If yes, why ?

Void Knight's kit as absolutely fun to use. I've been running a hybrid Void Knight/Astro/Priest and the damage output combined with Priest's healing is nuts

Anyone know how to edit skill/abilities?
Kind of just want to make Void Dragon form to last longer or something that you can manually shift in to or out of. I tried using the Divinity engine and an pak extractor but no luck. (so hard to change just 2 numbers lol)

I have unsubscribed and re-subscribed multiple times to no end because this mod is not showing up in my mod manager or on the in game mod menu. Not sure what else to do here but I'm certainly wanting to try new classes that aren't Odinblade and Heleane mods.

@karma they were changed during the balance update, they no longer bounce between targets however there are 3 now and they now can mark. to be honest the void mark system is massively improved since the update.

Did void daggers change? the mod page description says the damage jumps between enemies, but in game thats not the case
