Fix the Crash on Startup without losing the Savefiles

So I just did this and kept my Savefiles Ingame. Since i dont know if it works for you too, please do a Backup of the Savegame Folder.


0. !!! MAKE A BACKUP of the Savefolder: My Games\DRAGON QUEST XI !!!

1. Go to C:\Users\Documents\My Games\DRAGON QUEST XI\Saved\SaveGames\Book

2. Delete both System (999) Files

3. Uncheck Steam Cloud Sync

4. Start the Game

after you done this backup the new files dq creates so you dont have to keep removing them and just replace the corrupted ones each time this happens

this did the trick but finding the saves file was very tricky just make sure to keep looking after the 11......... try i found them delete both (999) files worked

@Ynphea try going into the folder where the .exe is and delete the DLL file. It sounds weird, but for some reason it worked for me.
