Features:

- Enables ultra fast speed without developer mode
- Adds ultra speed icon
- Allows you to set Event speed multiplier by right clicking the speed arrows. Event speed multiplier defines at which speed the game should run when an event happens. The vanilla game locks you at normal speed during hostile events (eg. combat). This setting is preserved through save/load.
- Mod options to configure the multiplier for each of the four speeds

Event Speed Mode

- Right click on speed control UI
- Slow : x0.5 speed (half of normal speed)
- Normal : x1 speed (default setting)
- Fast : x2 speed (twice normal speed)
- Half : Half of current game speed
- Ignore : Ignore force event speed

Incompatibilities

It has been reported that No Forced Slowdown produces an incompatibility

Butter++ has been reported to be problematic too

FAQ

Q: This mod doesn't make my game run faster, what gives?
A: Smart Speed is not a performance mod, what it does is it unlocks (and let's you configure) the speed at which the game runs when you press the speed arrows. If you mod can't run at 1000 TPS, setting speed x4 to 3600 won't magically make it run faster.

Great mod but why the sliders for settings it makes me want to cry , i cant have perfect 12 speed bc it puts it at 12.1 aafafjagjagajgk

Ive had smart speed for over 100 hours. My 4x speed option which caps out at 500 times speed only caps at 15 times speed. Did something change

hi! is it possiblee to add an accessibility option that when pressing the same speed button hotkey, it goes back to normal speed? so pressing 3 speeds it up, and pressing 3 again turn it normal speed.

Yep.

This mod is not a performance mod. It allows you to set higher speeds IF your game can reach them

im having an issue with my current save where the smart speed option isnt speeding anything up anymore. i reloaded a different save from several days agho and smart speed still works on it. the older save has more pawns, more wildlife, a much bigger map that my gravship is currently on, and a larger gravship with more loot. the only thing that the new save has that is bigger is the size of the world itself. is that what is slowing down my current savegame?
