WARNING/DISCLAIMER: This isn't at all historical but is meant for fun & alt-history.

Holy Fury: In theory this mod should work with Holy Fury as the features of HF and the patch don't interfere with the way the mod works, but I haven't had the time to test it yet. If it doesn't work, I will update it.

What this mod does: This mod adds a hypothetical/ahistorical mercenary order, the Saracen Guard that can be created and vassalized by decision. They can only be established by non-muslims (muslims have mamluks - which I will get to making a mod for soon hopefully), and the captain will be your religion upon creation (he has a base religion in the files but it really doesn't matter). He will always be Berber, however.

There are two methods to create the Guard.

Method #1: Control Tunis, Tripolitania and/or Cyrenaica as any title, be of at least kingdom rank & independent - and have the gold to spare. No specific title requirements. You can do this method as anyone who isn't HRE/ERE or Muslim. Only the player can perform this one.

Method #2: Have the title Kingdom of Egypt, don't be the HRE/ERE, be independent, don't have the Mamluks as vassals. This is the one the AI has to use, but the player can do it too. In this way the SG works as a replacement for the Mamluks. Egypt does not need to be your primary title.

The composition of the Saracen Guard is effectively a copy of the Mamluks. This is mainly because they are intended to be largely a replacement for them in the event you conquer Egypt (or in a shattered world's case, form it) and would like to have them back. This is for non-muslims though.

But if you are the player, you can form it as anybody and use them to help defend your kingdom from threats or conquer the med. Whatever you need their help with!

1) Make the separate but related mod to vassalize the Mamluks by decision.

2) Make events & lore for the Saracens.

3) Ensure this works for HF Patch
