Rude Loot - No Civil Abilities on Armor

Description
This mod removes nearly all randomly generated civil ability bonuses from loot. For example, persuasion won't appear on amulets anymore, or lockpicking on gloves. Telekinesis and Sneaking can still appear on amulets and boots respectively, since these have some minor combat value. It's no fun feeling the need to play dress up to maximize your bonuses, and civil bonuses often clog up loot.

I know that the last comment was over a year ago, but if anyone else ends up on this page and is looking to solve the same problem as @Varyn Quinn, @Errata, and @Dizzy Bat, this mod can help https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1644449228

If possible to rectify the issue of high skill checks, i.e. Persuasion and Thievery, you could increase the current base maximum of each civil ability (5) except for Teleknesis and Sneaking.

This combined with your "More Civil Points" would allow this to scale more appropriately.

Unsure if doable, but would appreciate a response on the issue.

As much as I love this mod in combination with your More Civil Points (civil points are soooo scarce, especially on LW runs), I have to say Dizzy Bat had a point. Even if we use the increased civil gain from leveling, its now impossible to break the 5 point cap for those high persuades. I also cant seem to find a mod that will just increase the cap withoutt drowning you in other 'features', and I don't have the knowhow to fix it myself.

An excellent mod that makes new gear fun again, but sadly will have to disable it until I can find a solution.

A bit of a problem this mod creates is that manu persuasion checks require more than 5 persuasion in arx. This mod makes it impossible to get that high.

There's a pool of bonuses to pick from, and I removed the civil abilities from that pool, so combat bonuses will replace those civil abilities.

Hey a little late update, I've used the mod for quite a while now and I'm pretty sure it removes the civil bonuses from the stats so there is a better chance for skill bonuses or attributes, I recommend using it with "Slightly More Civil Ability Points" from the same author so your civil skills don't fall behind, and you can focus them better.
Good luck!

Same question as Ashen does it give equipment other bonuses as replacements for the removed civil ability points or does it just basically weaken all the gear in the game for zero benefit?

@Eversio As I understand this mod, it will work on saved games going forward, but will not remove civil bonuses that already exist on items you have. There is no reason a mod like this should require a new game to function.

can I disable this on an existing playthrough or will I have to start a new game? I tried disabling it and checking vendors but couldnt see any civil gear. (not sure how vendor stock works though)
