Description
This mod requires OdinCore - Mod Services to use.

A clan of devoted assassins, the Umbra switch between Order and Chaos forms to ensure they kill their mark as quickly as possible. With more than 30 new skills, switch between damage-types to stealthily assassinate your target with this adaptive new class!

Version 1.2.2 (Read the Patch Notes here!)

The Umbra adapt to the targets weaknesses, transforming their skills between Order (physical damage) and Chaos (chaos damage) forms. Umbra assassins are some of the finest minds in Rivellon; knowing when to switch forms is crucial to utilise skill cooldowns.

As a flexible but somewhat low-range class, Umbras are best suited as the primary damage dealer within a team composition; they thrive when supported by their allies. This class may be tricky in terms of building and playstyles, so I've gone ahead and created a build guide for you all to make it a tad bit easier!

*IMPORTANT*
Whilst using the Umbra class, ensure that you have automatically add skills to toolbar enabled in the games option menu, otherwise upon switching Form all of your skills will be removed from your toolbar!

There are many skills in this class, and I'm not able to fit them all on this workshop page in the format I would like. To remedy this, I have made an online document containing all of the skill descriptions, so please click the link below to access it.

As well as having many skills which have two stances, there are 5 "Elite" skills, including Way of the Umbra, which do not have two forms, but provide useful utility for Umbras to make use of. As such, their cooldown is not reset upon using Way of the Umbra.

Ezuri the Umbral Master is an assassin who can sell the party skillbooks, as well as some daggers to keep yours up-to-date. He can be found throughout the game in various locations:
  • Fort Joy:
    • Standing next to the ladder by Fort Joy’s entrance archway.
    • At the entrance to Armadia's Sanctuary, next to the wooden platform.
  • Reaper's Coast:
    • Aboard the Lady Vengeance. He is on the top deck in the crows nest near the head of the ship.
    • Next to the stairs leading up to Meistr Sava’s house.
  • Nameless Isle: Aboard the Vengeance in the same place as Reaper's Coast.
  • Arx: In the city square, opposite the Dwarven blacksmith. Outside the Toy Shop.

how viable is the chaos form? it doing random types of elemental make me feel uncertain as i dont wont to heal undead with poison and such and i also play lonewolf only so it doing split damage dosnt seem like itd be the greatest idea but if anyone thats tried it has an opnion, would like to hear it

Does being invisible count as being in stealth? or do i have to spend a turn going into sneak mode

I'm having an issue with chaos form skills that cause fading. Half the time they deal physical damage, and half the time they do chaos. It makes it hard to predict and rely on that skill

Sometimes when I swap between Orders, the skills don't change at all. Is this a known bug? Mod compatability issue? is there a fix?

@Soldier Prout have a look into this, it helped me

Hey guys honnestly wonderfull mod, i just have a little bug sometime when i swap my form it doesn't change my skills. It's a bit boring when you want to reset your cooldown . i got the invisibility, the form cahnge for chaos but the skill doesn't swap. if someone now why, maybe a conflict with another spell or something like that. thanks you !

After playing with this a bit more it's definitely too strong. A lot of these skills are just better versions of Scoundrel skills or combine the mechanics of 2 Scoundrel skills into a better skill. It's Scoundrel on steroids. There's little reason to use many Scoundrel skills because most of these outclass them in just about every way(and I'm even using your Scoundrel overhaul.)

Nerve Slash, for example, is absolutely busted. It's essentially Rupture Tendons that does 85% as much damage but applies a stacking debuff, has a 3 turn cooldown instead of 5, while also having the warp and guaranteed crit functionality of Backlash but with a 10m range instead of 8.

This is honestly a little too strong, especially when paired with your Scoundrel overhaul. And then people want a "no dagger requirement" version to make them do even more damage? Damn, just play on Explorer difficulty if you want the game that easy lol.

How do i remove the "order form/chaos form" buff on my character?
